The Traditions of Christmas suite from Stampin’ Up is so elegant looking and is just gorgeous.  This Merry and Bright card using paper and dies from the set to make a lovely card to the holidays.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Real Red card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Pretty in Pink card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Old Olive card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Gold card stock
  • White card stock
  • Traditions of Christmas designer series paper (September 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Traditional Labels stamp set (September 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Christmas Greenery Dies (September 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Petals of Beauty Dies (September 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Stitched Rectangle Dies (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder (September 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Real Red ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

For the card base use Real Red card stock and cut a piece to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half.  From the Pretty in Pink card stock cut a piece to 4” x 5 ¼” and another the same size from white cards stock.

Use the Old Olive card stock and the evergreen die from the Christmas Greenery dies and cut four evergreen branches.  From the gold card stock use the three pieces to make up the bow and cut one set and then cut two of the leaf branches from the Petals of Beauty dies.  Cut the gold leaf pieces in half to give your four pieces.  With your Traditions of Christmas designer series paper find the piece with the large poinsettia floral grouping and use the die from the Christmas Greenery set to cut out one and then use a pair of scissors to cut out one of the single flowers with leaves.  From white card stock cut out a stitched label dies and stamp the “Merry and Bright” greeting stamps in Real Red ink onto the label.

Take the piece of Pretty in Pink piece you cut and emboss using the Beautify Pattern embossing folder.  Adhere to the front of your card.  Adhere your four evergreen pieces toward the top of the card making sure they don’t overhang the edge of your card.  Then adhere the four gold leaf pieces and then the poinsettia cut out piece on top of those.  Put the gold bow together and adhere it to the lower center of your Poinsettia.  Adhere the Merry and Bright label in the lower right corner under a bit of the greenery.

For the inside of your card adhere the white piece of card stock and adhere the flower you cut out in the lower left corner.  Use Real Red ink and the “Merry Christmas” greeting stamp from the Traditional Labels stamp set and stamp in the upper center.

This makes a beautiful Christmas card for anyone you care about.
