Pocket Full of Love Card

This denim looking paper from the Paper Melody designer series paper pack from Stampin’ Up was just asking to be made into a pocket looking card.  The Framed Florets stamp set and dies had the perfect floral stamp to fill the pocket and stamp a greeting.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Hydrangea Hue card stock (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Paper Melody designer series paper (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Framed Florets stamp set and dies (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Stitched Label die
  • Hydrangea Hue ink (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Basic Black Hybrid ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Barely Blush glitter pen (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Golden Glow glitter pen (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Peaceful Pine glitter pen (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

From a piece of Hydrangea Hue card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  From a piece of white card stock cut two pieces to 4” x 5 ¼” for the front and inside of your card and another to 2 5/8” x 3 5/8”.  Take the Paper Melody designer series paper pack and find the denim looking paper.  Cut a piece to 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” and another to 2 ½” x 3 ½”.  With the 2 ½” x 3 ½” denim piece, cut up about an inch to the center on each side to form your pocket.  Adhere to the white piece measuring 2 5/8” x 3 5/8” and then trim to match.

Adhere the larger piece of denim paper to one of the white pieces and adhere to the front of your card.  Then adhere your pocket to the front of your card about 1” from the bottom.  With a scrap piece of white card stock stamp two of the floral sprays and use the glitter pens to color in one full spray and then the two larger flowers from the second and cut the two flowers out with scissors.  In Hydrangea Hue ink stamp the “just a little reminder that you are loved” greeting on a scrap piece of white card stock and cut out with a label die (I don’t know where this label die is from).

Adhere the full floral spray to the top of the pocket.  Adhere the label across the bottom of the pocket on an angle to the right side and adhere one of the cut out flowers for decoration.

For the inside adhere to white piece of card stock to the back panel.  Use the Hydrangea Hue ink to stamp the “so lucky to call you friend” greeting in the upper center of the inside.  Adhere the second flower to the lower left.

Adorable floral pocket to tell a friend you care.
