Impressions Abloom Easel Card

I was excited to use this new Stampin’ Up Online Exclusive set called Impressions Abloom suite.  It uses a few of the new In Colors, this card is made with the new Strawberry Slush In Color.  I am already in love with this new color as it isn’t pale but it also isn’t really bright.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Strawberry Slush card stock (Stampin’ Up 2025-2027 In Colors)
  • White card stock
  • Vellum
  • Floral Impressions designer series paper (Stampin’ Up)
  • Impressions Abloom stamp set and dies (Stampin’ Up)
  • Strawberry Slush ink (Stampin’ Up 2025-2027 In Colors)
  • Strawberry Slush and Pretty In Pink Gems
  • Scoring board or paper trimmer scoring blade
  • Paper trimmer
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

To start this card you need to take your Strawberry Slush card stock and cut a card base to 4 ¼” x 11”, folded in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  From your Floral Impressions designer series paper, find the Strawberry Slush floret piece that has the small florals on the other side which is needed as well.  Cut two pieces of this paper to 4” x 5 ¼”.  Adhere the Strawberry Slush floret piece to the front of your card base, make sure you only put adhesive around the edges as you will have to be able to slide your vellum piece in.  Use your scoring board or scoring blade and score the front portion in half, scored at 2 ¾” and folded.  Now take the other oval die that has the dotted edge, cut an oval in the middle of your card front.  Keep both of the edge pieces.

With your white card stock cut and oval with the Impressions Abloom dies oval without the decorative dots.  With your vellum cut a piece to 3 3/8” x 4 ½”, then with the same oval die cut halfway down leaving the bottom portion in tacked.   Cut the top portion of the vellum outside.

The hardest part is to then get your card stock and Strawberry Slush card front to split apart so you can insert the piece of vellum in between them.  Get the vellum inserted and centered.  Take the Strawberry Slush dotted oval edge from when you cut your front ovel and adhere to the vellum, inserting it into your oval with the front laying flat so it is all lined up.  Then take the Strawberry Slush floret piece and adhere to the back of your vellum oval.

Now from your Floral Impressions designer series paper pack find the piece that has all the different florals from the pack on one and with the two pinks on the left side cut out three different larger flowers with stems, three of the lighter pink daisy flowers and three of the small Strawberry Slush flowers (or you can use stamps and dies to cut out flowers from the Impressions Abloom dies if you prefer not to have to “fussy cut” the flowers like I did).  Arrange these around your oval on the front of your card for decoration.

For the inside of your card take the floral piece you cut to 4” x 5 ¼” and adhere to the inside of your card.  Then take the white card stock oval and the “Thanks” and “so very much” stamps and stamp them centered on the oval.  Put adhesive on the back of your oval and put it into the oval from your card base (behind the vellum) to align and then close your card on to it.  Now add three of the smaller Strawberry Slush embellishments below your greeting for the folded card front to be able to stand against.

You now have a great card to give to someone you appreciate for what they do for you.

Daffodil Afternoon Thank You Card

To be honest, most of this card was designed by my Stampin’ Up upline demonstrator.  I found it in a big stack I had built up in a spot in my craft room.  I had that pile built up for my mom and I to work on together and she passed away unexpectedly and I just haven’t been able to deal with it.  It has now been almost three years and I have finally dug into it and found a bunch of stuff to play with.  This was in there as a card ready to make which I modified a bit.  But it is perfect for this time of year as my daffodils are up already.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Very Vanilla card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Mossy Meadow card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Basic Black card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Daffodil Afternoon designer series paper (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Dainty Delight stamp set (Stampin’ Up)
  • Mossy Meadow ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Scallop Edge rectangular dies (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Crushed Curry crinkle ribbon (Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

With your Very Vanilla card stock cut a card base to 4 ¼” x 11” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  Cut another piece for the inside of your card to 3 ½” x 4 ¼”.  Take your Mossy Meadow card stock and cut a piece to 3 3/8” x 4 7/8” and another for the inside to 4” x 5 ¼”.  Grab the Basic Black card stock and your scallop edge die that measures about 3 7/8” x 5 ¼” and cut.  Take the daffodil paper from the Daffodil Afternoon designer series paper pack and your smaller scallop die measuring around 3 1/8” x 4 ½” and cut.  Find a label die large enough for the “Celebrate You” from the Dainty Delight stamp set, stamp your greeting onto the in Mossy Meadow ink.

Take your Very Vanilla card base and adhere the Basic Black decorative piece, then the Mossy Meadow piece  measuring 3 3/8” x 4 7/8”.  Now with the daffodil piece adhere that to the Mossy Meadow with pop dots to make it stand out a bit.  Adhere your label to the lower right.  With the Crushed Curry crinkle ribbon tie a bow and adhere to the upper left corner of your label.

For the inside take the Very Vanilla piece and your Mossy Meadow ink and stamp the “Thank You for your Kindness”.  Adhere the Very Vanilla piece to your Mossy Meadow piece and then to the inside of your card.

There is the Daffodil Afternoon thank you card.

  • Memorable Blooms stamp set and dies
  • Two layered label dies
  • Basic Black ink
  • Scoring board or paper trimmer scoring blade
  • Paper trimmer

Give this diverse black and white double z-fold thank you card to let someone know you appreciate their thoughtfulness and them.

Grace’s Garden Thank You Card

This is one of the prettiest stamp sets and once I saw it had a little kitty (which I didn’t use for this card) I had to have it.  The gate options and different flower groups are just so adorable.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Soft Sky card stock (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Crumb Cake card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Grace’s Garden stamp set and dies (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Jet Black StazOn ink
  • Soft Sky ink (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Lemon Lime Twist (Stampin’ Up)
  • Blending Brushes
  • Brick Embossing Folder (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Corner Rounder
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

For you card base cut a piece of Soft Sky card stock to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½” the use a corner rounder to round the two corners at the fold which then mimic the gate a bit.  Cut two pieces of white card stock to 4” x 5 ¼” and round the top two corners on both of them to match your card.

Take one of your cut white pieces, your Soft Sky and Lemon Lime Twist inks and your blending brushes.  With the Lemon Lime Twist, lightly ink the bottom 1/3 of your paper with the blending brush.  Then lightly do the same to the top half in the Soft Sky.

Now take some scrap white paper and your Jet Black StazOn and stamp three of the climbing rose, two of the tall hollyhocks and two of the daisy and hosta group and two of the small gate pieces.  Take your inside piece of white you cut and stamp a hollyhock on the left side and a climbing rose on the right.  Then also take a small piece of Crumb Cake card stock and emboss it with the brick embossing folder to use for a path.

For the climbing roses I colored them with the Bubble Bath Light Stampin’ Blend and the Old Olive Light.  For the hollyhocks I colored them with the Highland Heather Light Stampin’ Blends and the Lemon Lime Twist Dark Stampin’ Blends.  The daisies I colored with the Limon Lolly Dark Stampin’ Blends and the Hosta with the Pale Papaya Dark Stampin Blends and used the Lemon Lime Twist Light Stampin’ Blends for the leaves.  Use your dies to cut all of these and also the arched gate.  I did have to cut the gate in half so it would open, though the die looked like it should have done it.

Now let’s put it all together.  Adhere your white card stock piece that you colored with the blending brushes to the front of your card.  Then adhere the arched gate in the center with the bottom at the bottom of your white colored piece.  Adhere one of the gates on each side so they will stick out in the background of your flowers.  For the climbing roses I did cut the but of the top of one just to make them look slightly different, then adhere to the edge of your gate climbing the arch.  Put a hollyhock to the far edge of each side.  For the daisy and hosta pieces I cut them apart and adhered the daisy to each side in the front on pop dots to stand it out a bit.  Then I put the path down on the inside of my gate and then put a hosta on each side overlapping the path and then cut the last climbing rose in half and put one on each side of the path as well.

Not with your Jet Black StazOn ink and the “With all my heart” greeting stamp in the center of your gate.

For the inside adhere your white piece with the colored flowers to the inside of your card.  With your Jet Black StazOn and the “I thank you for all the kindness in yours” greeting stamp toward the top center.

That is all there is to making this lovely thank you card.  I am looking and thinking I could have stamped the littly kitty looking up at the hollyhocks on the inside, so there is a suggestion you can add.

Winterly Tree Tops Level-Up Card

This curved front card is made with the Nests of Winter suite using the Nests of Winter designer series paper and the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set from the Stampin’ Up suite.

You will need the following supplies to make this card:

  • Gray Granite card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • The Nests of Winter designer series paper (Stampin’ Up)
  • Winterly Tree Tops stamp set and dies (Stampin’ Up)
  • A scoring board or paper trimmer with a scoring blade
  • Paper trimmer
  • Real Red ink pad (Stampin’ Up)
  • Your preferred adhesive
  • Pop dot adhesive

Cut a piece of Gray Granite card stock in half to 4 ¼” x 11”.  Get your scoring board or cutting tool with a scoring blade and score this cardstock at 1 ¾”, 3 1/8”, 3 ½”, 7 ½”, 7 7/8” and 9 ¼”.  Starting from the center to the right side fold up, fold up and fold the last flap out and then the same from the left.

Grab your Nests of Winter designer series paper and pull out the pinkish piece full of pussy willows and cut a piece 3 ¾” x 4” and adhere that to the center panel of your card stock.  Now cut two pieces of the light gray with the pussy willows and birds, make sure to cut so you get a bird for each, these will both be 1 ½” x 4” and adhere one of each to the front flaps.

Now grab your Winterly Tree Tops dies or a pair of scissors and the designer series paper that has the gray and pink bird and either cut the bird out with the die or with scissors.

Put some pop dots on the back of your cut out bird and then hold your card flat and adhere the bird to the upper center of the middle section of the card.  Based on these measurements it just fits with a very small portion to go under the upper flaps.

Also cut a 1” x 5 ¼” piece of just the gray from the light gray with pussy willows and birds paper and a piece of 1 ¼’ x 5 ½” out of the gray granite card stock.  Adhere these two strips together.

Now put about 1 ½” of adhesive on the back side of the card stock and then fold your card flat at align the strip across the card.

Get your Real Red ink pad and your stamp (I used the “A friend like you brings me happiness” you wisht to use, make sure it will fit nicely along the strip.  Ink your stamp pad and then “stamp off” on a piece of scrap paper to change the color of the ink from red to a more pinkish color to match the bird in the middle.   Now stamp onto a piece of white card stock.  Cut that piece of stamped card stock down to about ¾” x 3 ¼”.

Adhere your stamped saying to the front strip of the card.  I put it to the left, but you could also center it.

Flip the card over to the back side.  Cut a piece of white card stock to 3 ¾” x 4” and a piece of the light gray designer series paper cut to 1” x 3 ¾”.  Adhere the strip toward the bottom of the white piece of card stock.  If you would like to stamp a saying to the signature part of your card, stamp off using the Real Red ink again and then stamp your saying (I used “thinking of you always”).

This is a different card style that is fun and fairly easy to make.  The hardest part was determining the scoring measurements which are now supplied so now it is easy for you.  I hope you have fun making this card.

Wildflower Birthday Tent Pop-Up Card

This card is so fun and it’s easy to make and is a great birthday card for anyone.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Pool Party card stock
  • White card stock
  • Wildflower Birthday specialty designer series paper
  • Delightful Wishes stamp and die set
  • A die for the window
  • A die with a scalloped or decorative edge
  • Pool Party ink
  • Scoring board or scoring blade for paper trimmer
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop-Dots

With the Pool Party card stock cut a card base to 4 ¼” x 11” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  Cut another piece to 3” x 4 ¼” and score it at every half inch and accordion fold it.  Cut a piece of white card stock to 4” x 5 ¼”.  Get a piece of the cake designer series paper from the Wildflower Birthday pack and cut two pieces to 4” x 5 ¼”.   Also get one of the balloon cutouts from the Wildflower Birthday pack.

Take your card base and the two pieces of cut cake paper.  Adhere one of the cake pieces to the front of the card and take the second piece and flip it over to the striped side and adhere that to the inside of the card.

Get your die to cut out the front window of the card, make sure it is sized to show the balloons through it and cut it out.  Take a scalloped or decorative die and cut a piece long enough to cover your front cut out and about 2” high and score at ½” from the top and fold.  Adhere the half inch portion to the top edge of the striped designer series paper.  Align your balloons in the window and adhere to the white folded piece.  Trim the bottom of the ballons to the bottom of the striped paper.  Now take your according piece and adhere one side to the back bottom of your card with the accordion folds pointing up.  Adhere the bottom of your balloons to the front of the middle accordion fold so that it will be at the middle level.  Then adhere the front of the accordion fold piece to the back of the front flap of the card.

Take a spare piece of white card stock and your Pool Party ink and stamp the “wishing” stamp from the Delightful Wishes stamp set and use the wishing die to cut it out.  Then stamp the “you a happy birthday” and use the long label die to cut it out.  Adhere the “wishing” across the front of your opening angled up on the right.  Adhere the “you a happy birthday” across the bottom of your window.

Take the white piece you cut to 4” x 5 ¼” and adhere to the back of the card.  Add a few more decorative cut outs from the Wildflower Birthday designer series paper pack, I used one of the pink balloons and the small flowers.

I love this card, mainly as I love setting my cards out and the cards that are vertically cut tend to not stay standing very well, but the accordion bottom fixes that.  So cute as well.

Irresistible Blooms Bridge Tower Card

This is the first time I have made a tower card and it took me a little bit of playing.  My instructions will be correct, though my card is a half an inch too long to fit into a standard envelope.  I haven’t use the Irresistible Blooms suite in a while and I forgot how beautiful the paper is.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Petal Pink card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Hello, Irresistible designer series paper (Stampin’ Up)
  • Irresistible Blooms dies (Stampin’ Up)
  • Decaled Circle dies (Stampin’ Up)
  • Daffodil Delight ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Scoring board or paper trimmer scoring blade
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

With the Petal Pink card stock cut two pieces 4 ¼” x 4 ½”, and score along the 4 ½” side at 1”, 2”, 3”, 4” for your towers.  Cut another piece to 3” x 4 ¼” scored at ½” and 2 ½” for the center.

From the Hello, Irresistible designer series paper pack, find the piece that has the flowers on the front you can cut out with dies that is the lighter piece with the petal pink and daffodil delight colors and on the back has the same colors with a triangle design.  Then also a piece that is just the Petal Pink and Daffodil Delight and then also a piece with white leaf designs.

With one piece on the triangle side cut 6 pieces to ¾” x 4”.  With the plain Petal Pink and Daffodil Delight piece cut two pieces to 2 ¼” x 4”.

Now take your two Decaled Circle dies, the larger should be about 3 ½” or so and then the next smaller one.  With the larger cut two Petal Pink and with the smaller one cut one with the white leaf designer series paper piece and one from white card stock.  Also use the three decorative leaf dies and cut 5 different leaves.  Take the two flower dies and cut out one large flower from the designer series paper and two of the smaller size.

Now let’s start assembling.  Take the two pieces of Petal Pink cut to 4 ¼” x 4 ½” scored and your 6 pieces of designer series paper with the triangles and adhere three to one piece in the three 1” sections from the ½” side and then put adhesive on the ½” section and form your tower.  Do the same with the other tower.

Take the Petal Pink piece you cut for the center and adhere the two pieces of designer series paper to each side.  Put adhesive on both ½” side and adhere each tower, centering your center on each tower.  Take one of your Petal Pink Decaled Circles and the circle with the white leaves and adhere to the Petal Pink circle, making sure the leaves don’t hang down too far).  Take the one large flower and one of the small flowers you cut and with pop dots adhere to the bottom of the circle and adhere three leaves for decoration.

With the Irresistible Bloom stamp set and the Daffodil Delight ink stamp on a spare piece of white stamp the “Hello” greeting and use an appropriate size label die to cut it out.  Use pop dots to adhere to your Decaled Circle above the flowers.  Put some adhesive on the center of both of your towers and fold down so it is lying flat and adhere your decaled circle with the flowers at the bottom.

Now take your second Decaled Petal Pink circle and the white one and adhere together.  With the Irresistible Blooms  stamp set and the Daffodil Delight ink stamp the “I Couldn’t be happier to have you as my friend” greeting.  Take the second small flower and adhere with pop dots and then add the two leaves.

You now have a lovely card to send to a friend to let them know you are thinking of them.

On the white piece you cut to 3 ¾” x 5” for the inside and stamp the two flowers stamp in the lower left corner and color that in the same colors.  With the “Just a note to let you know you are on my mind” from the Mixed Labels stamp set stamp that toward the upper part in Basic Gray ink also stamped off first.  Adhere this piece to the inside of your card.

For the front of your card, start with adhering the large white piece and then the large piece in Basic Gray decorative piece.  Now lets work on the center, take your Basic Gray small chevron and Petal Pink speckled pieces.  Align them on your piece of white paper as a guide with the Basic Gray chevron overlapping the speckled Petal Pink piece.  Lay your cut out flower piece toward the middle and find the angle starting with your small flower at the top covering where the gray chevon piece and then angle the stem down until it aligns with the end of the paper.  Push down slightly and mark the angle with a pen or pencil and then cut that angle off the top of the gray chevron paper.  Adhere your speckled petal pink piece to the top portion of the white piece.  Then adhere your Basic Gray chevron piece on the bottom portion.  Then adhere your flowers lighted up to cover where to paper meet.  Wrap a piece of peach of white ribbon around and tie.  With the Mixed Label stamp set find the small “With sympathy” and stamp on a spare piece of white card stock.  You the medium size label die from the same set to cut out.  Use pop dots to adhere over your ribbon and slightly off of your Basic Gray chevron paper.

This card turn out really pretty and is a nice sympathy card for when you need one.
