2026 Virtual Retreat Floral Thinking of You Card

I decided to play with some of the paper from the 2026 Virtual Retreat suite along with the Forever Florals stamps and dies that was included from Stampin’ Up.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Bubble Bath card stock (2024-2026 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • 2026 Virtual Retreat designer series paper (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Forever Florals stamp set and dies (2026 Virtual Retreat Stampin’ Up)
  • Berry Burst ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Scoring board or scoring blade for paper trimmer
  • Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

From a piece of white card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 7 ¼” and score at 3” and fold.  Cut another piece to 2 ¾” x 5 ¼” for the inside.  From the Bubble Bath card stock cut a piece to 2 7/8” x 5 3/8”.  From the 2026 Virtual Retreat designer series paper find the white and Bubble Bath grid paper and the floral paper.  From the grid paper cut a piece to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” for the inside and from the floral a piece to 2 ¾” x 5 ¼”.

Adhere your floral piece to the Bubble Bath piece and then adhere that to the 3” front panel of your white card base.

Take a spare piece of white card stock and stamp the “Thinking of you” greeting from the Forever Florals stamp set in Berry Burst ink.  Use the smaller label die to cut your greeting and the larger one to cut out a label from the Bubble Bath paper.  Adhere then together and adhere to the upper center of the front of your card, making sure you don’t put adhesive on the portion that will overhang.

For the inside of your card adhere the grid paper to the back panel of the inside of your card.  Adhere the white piece to the left side of the grid paper.  Stamp the You’re on my mind” and “and in my heart” greetings together in Berry Burst ink.  Place five of the Bubble Bath embellishments from the Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots around on the grid paper and label.

A beautiful card for a friend or relative to let them know how much you care and are thinking about them.

With a scrap piece of white card stock stamp the “You’re on my mind” greeting in Secret Sea ink and use the label die to cut out.  Then stamp the large floral stamp and one of each of the single flowers in Secret Sea ink.  Use the leaf stamp and stamp on once with Secret Sea ink and stamp each of the leaves to fill them in.  Use the small floral stamp and your Marina Mist ink to fill in the small flower stamps.  Use the floral center stamp with your Darling Duckling ink to fill in the flower centers.  Use scissors to cut out each.  Then cut the large floral piece into to with the largest flower half and then the two flowers as another half.

Adhere the large floral half to the top of the label and the small single flower to the right of the label.  Use pop dots to adhere over your ribbon.  Adhere the two to the back right side and the other large single flower to the back upper left side.  With the Moody Palate Glossy Dots around with one on your label and two in the blue section of your card front.

For the inside of your card stamp the “and in my heart” greeting to the upper inside in Secret Sea ink.  Then with your large flower grouping stamp ink in Secret Sea ink and stamp a portion in the lower right corner.  Use the Secret Sea ink and leaf fill-in stamp and stamp off before filling in your leaves.  Use the Marina Mist ink and the small flower to fill in the tiny flowers.  Then finish with the flower center stamp and filling in the flower centers with the Darling Duckling ink.

Painted Illusions Floral Birthday Card

This floral stamp from the 2026 Virtual Card Making Retreat stamp set is just so pretty and stamps so clear.  It seemed like the perfect option to go with this blue decorative paper from the Painted Illusions designer series paper from Stampin’ Up March Product of the Month.  The small flowers match the flowers in the paper perfectly.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Misty Moonlight card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Painted Illusions designer series paper (March 2026 Product of the Month Stampin’ Up)
  • 2026 Virtual Card Making Retreat stamp set (Stampin’ Up)
  • Stampin’ Blends
    • Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend
    • Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend
    • Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend
  • Misty Moonlight ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From a piece of Misty Moonlight card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  Cut another piece to 2 5/8” x 3 5/8”.  With some white card stock cut two pieces to 4” x 5 ¼” and another to 2 ¾” x 3 ¾”, one to 1” x 3 5/8” and a last to ¾” x 3 5/8”.  Take your Painted Illusions designer series paper pack and find the blue piece with the small flowers.  Cut a piece to 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”.

Take your Misty Moonlight card base and adhere one of the white 4” x 5 ¼” pieces to the front.  Then adhere the blue floral designer series paper piece.  Adhere the 2 5/8” x 3 5/8” Misty Moonlight piece to the 2 ¾” x 3 ¾” piece of white and then adhere this to the center of the front of your card base.

With a scrap piece of white card stock and your Misty Moonlight ink stamp the large floral stamp from the 2026 Virtual Card Making Retreat stamp set.  Ink the grouping of 2 small flowers and ink and stamp just that on your scrap white as well.  Use your Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends marker to color the small flowers.  Color the flower centers in Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends marker and the leaves in Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends marker.  Use a pair of scissors to cut out the design and your three small flowers (cut to three individual flowers).

On the white strip you cut to ¾” x 3 5/8” stamp the Happy Birthday greeting in Misty Moonlight ink.  On the white strip measuring 1” x 3 5/8” stamp the stripes strip in Misty Moonlight almost to the bottom, leaving about 1/16” of white at the bottom.  Adhere the Happy Birthday strip to the top of the stripes strip.  Adhere this toward the front of your card base at the bottom of the rectangle.  Then use pop dots to adhere the floral piece.  Use the three small pink flowers you cut out to adhere around the edge of your Happy Birthday.

For the inside of your card adhere the last white pieces to the inside of your card base.  At the bottom of the white pieces stamp the stripes at the bottom in Misty Moonlight.  Then stamp the “Love you” and “friend” stamps together for form “Love you friend” greeting stamped toward the top of the inside of your card.

What a pretty, cheerful, birthday card for any friend.

Painted Illusions Happy Birthday Pop-Up Blocks Card

I have looked at making this pop-up style card for a while and this paper from the Painted Illusions designer series paper from Stampin’ Up seemed perfect for it.  I am not usually a fan of bright papers so breaking it up into small pieces with a calming background warmed it all up.  I love how it turned out and while there was a bit more cutting that usual, especially since I did two layers, it really went together fairly fast.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Lost Lagoon card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Painted Illusions designer series paper (March 2026 Product of the Month Stampin’ Up)
  • 2026 Virtual Card Making Retreat stamp set (Stampin’ Up)
  • Lost Lagoon ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

From a piece of Lost Lagoon card stock cut these pieces:

  • A card base to 4 ¼” x 8 ½” and score at 1 ½” and 3”. Fold the middle small panel in and the outside small panel out to form a “z” fold.
  • 3 ¼” x 4 ½” and score at 1 ¼”, 3”, and 4 ¼” and fold all inwards
  • 2 ¼” x 3 ¾” and score at 1”, 2 ½” and 3 ½” and fold all inwards
  • 1 ¼” x 3” and score at ¾”, 2” and 2 ¾” and fold all inwards

From white card stock cut the following:

  • Two pieces to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” for the back of the card base and back panel
  • Two to 1 3/8” x 4 1/8”
  • 1 5/8” x 3 1/8”
  • 1 3/8” x 2 1/8”
  • 1 1/8” x 1 1/8”

From the Painted Illusions designer series paper find the Lost Lagoon decorative piece and also the Lost Lagoon and Granny Apple Green “swooshy” piece.  From the Lost Lagoon decorative piece cut a piece to 4” x 5 ¼”.  From the swooshy piece cut the following:

  • Three pieces to 1 ¼” x 4”
  • 1 ½” x 3”
  • 1 ¼” x 2
  • 1” x 1”

For one of the 1 ¼” x 4” and each of the other three, if you need a pattern to align, as I did, then cut them all from the same piece in order and then an even about off the top and bottom of the last three pieces.

Adhere the large white piece to the back panel of your card base and then the Lost Lagoon decorative piece to the top of that.  Adhere your first 1 ¼” x 4” “swooshy” piece that starts your patterns that align to one of the white pieces measuring 1 3/8” x 4 1/8”, and then adhere that to the top of your front panel.  Use one of the other two “ swooshy” pieces to adhere to one of the white pieces and adhere to the front of the middle panel.

Now time to create your steps.  Adhere each of your smaller “swooshy” pieces to their appropriate white pieces and then adhere each to the second section of each of the appropriate steps.  Take your largest step and adhere adhesive to the first panel, adhere in the center of the middle card base panel, then put adhesive on the ¼” section of the block, fold the third and fourth panel up and then fold your card down to find the appropriate spot, repeat for the next two sections.

With the large floral stamp with the three flowers and your Lost Lagoon ink, stamp them on a scrap piece of white.  Color the leaves with the Light Garden Green Stampin’ Blends pen.  Fussy cut out the three flowers and the colored leaves.  Then stamp the “happy birthday” greeting and cut out a rectangle around it.  Adhere the large flower to the bottom of the first panel with a single leaf and the triple leaves and then adhere the Happy Birthday greeting, angled up above the second and third pop-up blocks.  Adhere the middle flower and one of the two leaves to the upper portion of the second panel and the small flower and two leaves to the fourth pane.

For the back of the card adhere the large piece of white to the back and then the last “swooshy” piece to the left side of the right.  Stamp a birthday greeting in Lost Lagoon ink centered in the upper portion of the rest of the white.  I used a stamp that says “wishing you a day of little treasures and simple pleasures, happy birthday” which is a single stamp I have had for a long time but don’t know who made it.

This card turned out so cute, and it is so out of my normal range, so I was so excited about it.
