Plaid Deer Tag

I just love this holiday tag with the plaid and deer with the jingle bell around it’s neck.  The Festive Farmhouse designer series paper just has so many pretty papers, this plaid being my favorite and the deer head just goes perfectly.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Old Olive card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Festive Farmhouse designer series paper (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Traditional Labels stamp set (Sept-Dec Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Tag, Traditional Combo Original die (retired Sizzix)
  • Deer (unknown if punch or die)
  • Pine Bough die (Sizzix)
  • Silver cord (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Mini Jingle Bells (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Cherry Cobbler ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Adhesive of choice

From your white card stock use the Tag, Traditional Combo to cut the larger tag.  Use a deer die or punch to cut out a deer from the white as well.  Find the red plaid paper in the Festive Farmhouse designer series paper pack and cut out this with the same Tag, Traditional Combo large tag.  With the Old Olive and a pine bough die cut out two sprigs.

Take your deer and a small piece of silver cord and a silver jingle bell.  Run the cord through the jingle bell and adhere each end to the back of the deer with the cord around it’s neck.  Then adhere the two pine sprigs to the back, one on each side, trimming to the length you need them at.  Adhere the deer to the red plaid tag.

Take your white tag and the To: and From: stamps from the Traditional Labels stamp set and stamp them on the back of the white tag in Cherry Cobbler ink.

Use silver cord and run through both of your tag holes and tie in a knot.  What an wonderful tag for any male you are wrapping a gift for.

Gold Ornament Tag

This gold ornament tag is fairly simple but turned out really adorable.  It uses the Shining Brightly designer series paper from Stampin’ Up for the ornament, cut out with an ornament die and a tag die with a bit of a cut out pine bough to hang it on.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Very Vanilla card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Mossy Meadow card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Gold Foil card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Shining Brightly designer series paper (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Traditional Labels stamp set (Sept-Dec Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Tag, Scallop Original die (Sizzix)
  • Ornament die (Sizzix 139663)
  • Pine Bough die (Sizzix 661597A)
  • Basic Beige 3/8” Ribbon (2025-26 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Mossy Meadow ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From a piece of Very Vanilla card stock use the Tag, Scallop Original die to cut out your tag.  From a piece of Mossy Meadow use the Pine Bough die to cut out your pine and adhere it to the upper left side of your tag and trim off the excess.  Use the ornament die to cut out the cream and gold paper from the Shining Bright designer series paper and gold foil card stock to cut out the top of your ornament.  Adhere them together and add to your tag with pop dots.

For the back of your tag use the To: and From: stamps and Mossy Meadow ink and stamp on the back of your tag.  What a beautiful tag to put on any gift.

Peppermint Treasure Tag

These peppermint tags are so cute.  I have been wanting to use the peppermint embellishments from Stampin’ Up and found this peppermint candy paper from Gingerbread and Peppermint designer series paper from Stampin’ Up which was perfect.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Real Red card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Gingerbread and Peppermint designer series paper (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • No Peeking stamp set (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Bright Baubles stamp set (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Peaceful Wishes stamp set (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Real Red ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Crecent Combo Tag Set Original Die (retired Sizzix)
  • Real Red and White adhesive-backed Peppermints embellishments (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Adhesive of choice

From white card stock cut two of the largest size tags with the Crecent Combo Tag die, and then cut one from each of the peppermint papers from the Gingerbread and Peppermint designer series papers.

From your Real Red card stock cut two pieces to 1 ¼” x 1 ¾” and two white pieces to 1” x 1 ¾”.  In Real Red ink stamp “Merry Christmas” from the Peaceful Wishes stamp set on one of the white pieces.  Then stamp the “No Peeking” in Real Red ink on the other white piece from the No Peeking stamp set.  Adhere each white piece to the red piece and adhere the Merry Christmas one to the front of the green and red peppermint tag and the No Peeking to the red and white peppermint paper.  Use the Real Red and White Adhesive-Backed Peppermint embellishments to decorate around your greetings.

On the two white tags use the “To From” stamp from the Bright Baubles stamp set and stamp on each white tag in Real Red ink.  Use red ribbon (I used Mini Ruffled Ribbon) through both the white and decorative tag for each and tie in a knot.

Here are two very cute tags to use for your holiday wrapping.

Peace on Earth Dove Tag

This simple and elegant dove tag is a great way to dress up a package or gift bag with the shimmer of the papers and simplicity of the Peace on Earth dove die.  The Merry and Bright greeting is from the Thinlet Poinsettia Fold-A-Long card die set but was the perfect size for this tag.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper (Sept-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Real Red and White Glimmer Paper (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Traditional Labels stamp set (Sept-Dec Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Peace on Earth dies (Sept-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Thinlet Poinsettia Fold-A-Long Card dies (Sizzix)
  • White Crinkle Ribbon (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Misty Moonlight ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Adhesive of choice

In the Peaceful Garden Glimmer paper pack take a piece of the Misty Moonlight glimmer paper.  From the Peace on Earth dies, use the smaller label die and cut out a label.  From the Real Red and White Glimmer paper pack take one of the white glimmer paper pieces and cut out a dove with the dove die from the Peace on Earth dies and a Merry and Bright greeting from the Thinlet Poinsettia Fold-A-Long dies.

With your Misty Moonlight ink and the To: and From: stampes from the Traditional Labels stamp set and stamp on the back of the label.  Use a hole punch to punch a whole in the top of your label and string a piece of White Crinkle ribbon through the hole and tie in a knot.  Now adhere your cut out dove to the upper left of the front of your tag and the Merry and Bright greeting in the lower center.

There is an easy and quick tag for any Christmas or holiday gift.

Cozy Christmas Tags

These cute tags were made with the October 2025 Stampin’ Up Paper Pumkin kit supplies.  They were supposed to be made into cards, but they looked more like tags to me so I changed them into a variety of tags.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Cozy Christmas Paper Pumpkin Kit (October 2025 Stampin’ Up)
  • Cozy Christmas stamp set (October 2025 Stampin’ Up)
  • Real Red ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

Everything I used for these tags came in the kit.  I used some of the card bases and cut them up for the tag backgrounds.  I did use a variety of tag dies as well.  There was a great To :stamp and From: stamp in the Cozy Christmas stamps to use for the gats as well.  An easy way to get a bunch of tags, I think I got 10 tags out of the kit instead of 9 cards.
