Parcel and Post Holiday Card

This was another holiday card I made last year that everyone loved.  It has a few small pieces to cut and put together but is so cute when it is all done that it is worth the trouble.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Real Red card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Gold card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Soft Succulent card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Evening Evergreen card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Parcel and Post Mailbox dies (Spellbinders)
  • Square die with decorative edges (Stampin’ Up)
  • Christmas Messages stamp set (Stempin’ Up)
  • Christmas to Remember stamp set (Stampin’ Up)
  • Evening Evergreen ink
  • Real Red ink
  • Paper trimmer
  • Corner Rounder
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

With the Real Red card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  With the white card stock cut the square with decorative edges from the die and adhere to the front of your card.  Cut another piece of white card stock to 4” x 5 ¼”, us the corner rounder to round all four corners.  Adhere to the inside of your card.

With the real red card stock cut a mailbox with the Parcel and Post mailbox dies and adhere to the front center of your card.  Use all the card stock colors and various decorative dies to cut out a candy cane, peppermint candy, stems with berries, pines, holly leave and an envelope.  Adhere them all decoratively in the mailbox opening.

With white cards stock cut a piece to 1 3/8” to 1 7/8” and with your Evening Evergreen ink stamp your “Wishing you a Christmas season filled with joy and laughter” from the Christmas Messages stamp set and adhere to the front of your card with pop dots, centered in the middle of your mailbox front.  Also cut a white bow and a gold star and adhere that to the right side of the mailbox opening.

With Real Red ink and the Christmas to Remember stamp set greeting saying “Have a holly jolly Christmas” greeting to the inside of your card.

You now have an adorable holiday card to send to a friend or family member for some wonderful holiday wishes.

Sophisticated Sled Step Christmas Card

This was one of the Christmas cards I sent out in 2025 and received so many compliments.  This set is so pretty and reminds me of the holidays and being a kid sledding with my friends on the local hill.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Soft Succulent card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Silver card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Crumb Cake card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Real Red card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Light green card stock (? It isn’t Soft Sea Foam so not sure what color it is)
  • White card stock
  • Soft Succulent and Silver designer series paper (Stampin’ Up but I don’t remember from what specific pack)
  • Sophisticated Sled stamp set and dies (Stampin’ Up)
  • Embellished Ornaments stamp set (Stampin’ Up)
  • Decorative label die about 1” x 2”
  • Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder (Stampin’ Up)
  • Soft Succulent ink
  • Thin Twine
  • Scoring board or paper trimmer scoring blade
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From the Soft Succulent card stock cut a piece to 4 ¼” x 9 ½” and score on the long side at 1 ¼”, 2 ½” and 6”.  This forms the step portion of your card.  Cut another piece to 2 ¾” x 11”, folded in half.

With the light green card stock cut a piece to 3 ¼” x 4”.  Use the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder and adhere to the front panel of the step portion of the soft succulent card base.

With the Soft Succulent and Silver designer series paper cut a piece to 1”x 4” and adhere to the front of the step.  Then cut another piece to 2 ½” x 5 ¼” and adhere that to the front of the 2 ¾” x 11” piece.  Adhere the 2 ¾” x 11” with the front adhered to the front of the step and the back adhered to the back of the card, centered.

Grab some white card stock and your Soft Succulent ink and the “Thinking of You at Christmas” greeting from the Embellished Ornaments stamp set and stamp and then use your label die to cut.  Adhere to the lower right corner of the front of your card.  Cut a piece to 3 ¼” x 4” for the inside of your card and stamp with the Soft Succulent ink and the “With loving wishes for a bright and beautiful season” greeting and adhere to the inside of your card.

That gets your card all done except for building the sled.  With the silver card stock cut the sled rails.  With the Crumb Cake card stock cut the wood base for the sled and the wood rail for the front of the sled.  With your thin twin feed through the two holes of the wood rail for the front of the sled.  Then adhere both of the wood looking pieces to the silver rails.  Cut one of the leafy pieces out of soft succulent card stock and another out of the light green card stock, adhering the light green to the top of the Soft Succulent one, angled a bit so they both show and adhere that to the upper part of the wood base.  With the Real Red card stock cut a bow and adhere that to the front of the leaves.  Adhere the sled to the front upper portion of your card with pop dots to set it off.

That is how you make this lovely card with the Sophisticated Sled set.

Traditions of Christmas Z-Fold Seasons Greetings Card

This take on a traditional z-fold card made a really cute card with the Traditions of Christmas designer series paper from Stampin’ Up.  It gives a center section to decorate.   My upline from Stampin’ Up showed a similar card on her Facebook live so I used her layout for this.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Gold (Tan Textured Pearl) card stock (Hobby Lobby)
  • White card stock
  • Traditions of Christmas designer series paper (Sept-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Traditional Label stamps and dies (Sept-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Christmas Greenery dies (Sept-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Real Red ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

With a piece of white card stock cut a card base piece to 5 1/2” x 8 ¼” and score at 1 ½” and 4 ¼”, fold the 4 ¼” mark to the right and then the small section to the left.  From your Traditions of Christmas designer series paper find the green plaid piece, the pink poinsettia piece and the piece with the floral sprays you can cut out with a die from Christmas Greenery dies.  From the green plaid paper cut a piece to 1 3/8” x 5 3/8”.  From the pink poinsettia piece cut a piece to 2 5/8” x 5 3/8” and another to 1 3/8” x 5 3/8”.

Take your card base and the larger pink poinsettia piece and adhere that to the front panel behind your small-folded flap.  Adhere the other pink poinsettia piece to the right side of the inside of your card that is exposed.  Now adhere the green plaid piece to the center small flap.

From the floral spray paper use the die from the Christmas Greenery dies to cut out one with the pink and red flowers.  Use the large leaf die to cut out a piece from the gold card stock and cut into pieces and adhere to the back of your floral spray.  With a scrap piece of white card cut out the double banner label die from the Traditional Label dies.

With Real Red ink stamp the “Season’s Greeting” across your banner.  Adhere the banner to the lower portion of your front flap over the green plaid, about ½” up from the bottom.  With pop dots adhere your floral spray to the upper portion, overhanging your label slightly.

For the inside of your card stamp the “Sending Love and Joy” greeting in Real Red ink on the inside of your card centered on the white portion.

This gives you a gorgeous floral holiday card to give to someone special.
