Flower and Field Graduation Card

I needed a few graduation cards, so I made this one for a few of the girls.  The color of the floral paper from the Flower & Fields designer series paper from Stampin’ Up was just perfect for a female graduation card.  Then I have some graduation dies from InLoveArts that I used for the hat, diploma and congratulations for the front of the card.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Misty Moonlight card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Flower & Field designer series paper (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Graduation dies (InLoveArts)
  • Graduation Caligraphy stamp G10033 (Paper Inspirations)
  • Basic Black ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

For your card cut the following:

Misty Moonlight card stock

  • 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half for your card base to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
  • 2 7/8” x 3 1/8”
  • 1 1/8” x 3 5/8”

White card stock

  • 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” for the front of your card
  • 4” x 5 ¼” for the inside
  • 2 ¾” x 3”
  • 1” x 3 ½”

Misty Moonlight floral paper from Flower and Field designer series paper

  • 4” x 5 ¼”

Take your Misty Moonlight card base and adhere the 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” piece of white card stock to the front of it and then the floral paper to the front of that.  Adhere the two smaller pieces of white to the smaller pieces of Misty Moonlight.  Adhere the long label to the bottom portion of the front of your card and the larger to the upper portion.  From a piece of black card stock cut out the graduation cap and congratulation using the dies.  With a scrap piece of Misty Moonlight card stock use the diploma dies to cut out one diploma.

Adhere the graduation cap to the upper right side of the upper white portion on the front of your card base, then adhere the diploma to the lower left overlapping the cap slightly.  Adhere the congratulation to the lower long label on your card front.

For the inside of the card adhere you white inside piece to the back panel.  Using black ink and the Graduate Calligraphy greeting stamp, stamp to the left side leaving room for a message.  I love this graduation stamp for card fronts or inside, it is just such a nice stamp and saying.

What a lovely graduation card for any female graduating.
