Velvet Meadow Standing Arches Card

This Velvet Meadow flocked designer series paper is so pretty and I really wanted to the use the pink paper on the back so this Standing Arches pop-up card was the perfect design to showcase it. The accenting with the Velveteen Assortment pink flocked paper and the Flowering Meadow stamps and dies were the perfect combination.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Berry Burst card stock (Stampin’ Up)
Bubble Bath flocked card stock from Velveteen Assortment (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
White card stock
Velvet Meadow designer series paper (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
Flowering Meadow stamp set and dies (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
Arches dies (Stampin’ Up or Senhai)
Berry Burst ink (Stampin’ Up)
Paper trimmer
Adhesive of choice

From a piece of Berry Burst card stock cut out an arch measuring 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” for the back, one to 2 ¾” x 4” for the middle and 1 ¾” x 3” for the front. Then cut a piece to 1 5/8” x 2 ¼” and another to 2 ¼” x 2 ¾”, score each along the 2 ¼” edge at ½”, 1”, 1 ½” and 2”. Fold each section in for both and adhere the ¼” section to the first section to form a box. From white card stock use the 2 ½” x 3 ¾” arch die to cut your back panel and the ½” x 1 7/8” to create your label.

With the Velvet Meadow designer series paper, find the Bubble Bath piece with the white flocking leaves and then the Bubble Bath flowers piece. From the Bubble Bath piece with the white flocking leaves cut out with the 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” arch die. Use the 2 ½” x 3 ¾” arch die to cut out the floral paper. Then take a piece of the Flocked Bubble Bath paper from Velveteen Assortment and cut with the 1 ½” x 2 ¾” arch die.

From a scrap piece of the Bubble Bath with white flocking leaves use the two sprig dies from Flowering Meadow to cut out one of each of the two. From the floral paper use the double flower die to cut out one of the flowers and then hand cut out two leaves from the same paper. Use the small flower dies to cut out three small flowers from a scrap piece of Berry Burst.

Take the largest Berry Burst arch and adhere the white arch to the back and the Bubble Bath with the white flocked leaves to the front. Take the middle side Berry Burst arch and adhere the floral arch piece to it. Take the small Berry Burst arch and adhere the pink flocked piece to it. Now adhere the small square piece to the back of the small arch and the other square piece to the back of the middle piece. Now adhere the back of the middle size square piece to the front of your large arch and then the small square piece to the front of the middle arch.

Now adhere your two sprigs that you cut out to the front left bottom corner of your smallest arch and your three Berry Burst flowers over them to your liking. Take the small white arch label you cut and with your Berry Burst ink stamp the “just because” and adhere the label angling down with the flat end going under your tallest sprig.

For the back panel adhere your double flowers you cut out in the lower left corner and the two leaves where you like slightly under the flowers. Use the Berry Burst ink and stamp the “you always make me smile” greeting in the upper center.

Such a pretty card to let a tell someone you are thinking about them and they make you smile.

Paper Melody Happy Birthday Floral Flap Card

I designed this card that I am calling a Flap card using the Paper Melody designer series paper to highlight this lovely dainty floral and stripe papers. I used the Scallop Blooms stamps and label dies and the Boutique Blooms dies for my flowers, all from Stampin’ Up.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Petal Pink card stock (Stampin’ Up)
White card stock
Paper Melody designer series paper (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
Scalloped Blooms stamp set and dies (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
Boutique Blooms dies (Stampin’ Up)
Petal Pink ink (Stampin’ Up)
Varigated Ribbon (Stampin’ Up)
Glossy Dot Assortment embellishments (retired Stampin’ Up)
Paper trimmer
Scoring board or scoring blade for paper trimmer
Adhesive of choice

From white card stock cut your card base to 5 ½” x 7 ¼” at score at 3” and fold. Cut another piece to 2 ¾” x 5 ¼”. From your Petal Pink card stock cut two pieces to 2 7/8” x 5 3/8” and one to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”. In your Paper Melody designer series paper pack find the piece with the small flowers and the one with the diagonal stripes. From the floral piece cut two pieces to 2 ¾” x 5 ¼” and then from the stripe paper cut a piece to 4” x 5 ¼”.

From a scrap piece of white card stock use the large label die with the scallops on the bottom and also the long label die with the scallops on the end and cut one of each. Then use the small label die to cut one from a piece of Petal Pink card stock. From the Boutique Blossoms dies use the daisy die to cut three out of Petal Pink and two out of white card stock.

Now let’s start to assemble. First start by cutting a piece of the Variegated Ribbon about 20”-22” long. Now take the long white label and score at 2” and fold in. Then take the small Petal Pink label and the ribbon an adhere the ribbon between the two labels with the Petal Pink label on top at the edge of the fold, leaving about 8” of the ribbon on the front of the label.

Adhere the folded tab of your label to the back of your card base about 2 ¼” up from the bottom. Now adhere the large piece of Petal Pink card stock to the back covering your tab and then the striped piece to that. With your card still open adhere one of your Petal Pink pieces to the left side and one of the floral pieces.

For the front panel adhere the last Petal Pink piece to the front panel and then the other floral piece. Take your large label you cut and stamp the “happy birthday” greeting in Petal Pink ink in the center of the label and adhere to the lower part of your front panel. Now take one of the Petal Pink flowers you cut and add a center with one of the bright pink embellishments from the Glossy Dots Assortments and adhere to the upper left corner making sure it is low enough not to interfere with your ribbon. Add embellishments to the center of your other flowers and adhere one Petal Pink and one white one in the upper left corner and the last white one to the lower right corner of your back panel, making sure it doesn’t interfere with your card when closed.

To finish your inside, take the last piece of white card stock and adhere to the left side of your back panel, making sure it doesn’t show when the card is closed. With your Petal Pink ink and the “wishing you a day of relaxation happiness and love” greeting stamp from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set and stamp in the upper center of your white piece. Now close your card and tie in a bow, then trim the ends to the appropriate length.

A lovely muted floral card to say happy birthday to anyone.

Velvet Meadow Diagonal Z-Fold Card

This large bold paper from the Velvet Meadow designer series paper with the flocking is so beautiful, it can stand alone. Adding the pink velveteen paper for an accent and stamps from the Flowering Meadow stamps and dies, all from Stampin’ Up just made this card shine.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Peaceful Pine card stock (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
Barely Blush Velveteen card stock (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
White card stock

This card is all about the cutting, after that it just goes together quickly. From a piece of Peaceful Pine card stock cut a piece to 5 ½” x 11” and from the right-side angle down to 3” and then score from the right high side at 4 ¼ and 8 ½”. Fold into you’re Z-fold with the small front piece folding to the left.

From your white card stock cut the following:

Back panel – 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and 3 ½” x 3 ¾”
Middle panel (front and back) – two pieces to 4 1/8” x 4 3/8”
Front panel – 2 3/8” x 3 3/8”

Now from the Velvet Meadow find the piece with the bright large flowers and the Peaceful Pine background and cut a strip to 5 ¼” x 12”. Then cut into three pieces measuring 4” each. And from the Barely Blush velveteen paper from the Velveteen Assortment Specialty designer series paper cut a piece to 2 ¼” x 3 ¼”.

For the back panel take the floral piece you cut from the right side and the white piece measuring 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and line up and cut the angle to match your back panel. There are many ways to cut your angles to match, I tend to align the floral on the white and move up from the bottom 1/8” more and then align the white on the Peaceful Pine and again move up 1/8” more and then line up the diagonal on my cutter and cut them, but you can mark them and cut them that way or what works for you. Then take one of the white pieces for the middle panel and the middle floral piece and cut that diagonally. Then take the other white piece for the middle panel and the third floral piece, but you will cut the opposite angle as this goes on the back side of your middle panel so that it shows from the front. Then take the small white piece and the Barely Blush velveteen and do the same. Now adhere them all down to their appropriate panels.

With a piece of scrap white card stock and the Flowering Meadow stamp set find the daisy flower. Ink the stem part of the stamp in Peaceful Pine ink and then use your Berry Burst Stampin’ Write marker to ink the flower and stamp on your white card stock. Then find the large floral center stamp and stamp in Daffodil Delight ink. Use the dies to cut out both. Now take the “thanks” greeting stamp and stamp in Peaceful Pine ink and use the small label die from the Scalloped Blooms dies to cut out your label. Adhere your label to the front panel on your Barely Blush velveteen and then adhere the flower center to your daisy and then the flower stem over the straight left side of your label.

For the inside take your last piece of white card stock you cut and angle it to the same angle, since it is smaller you can use any of the angles. Adhere to your back panel center on three-sided from the bottom, making sure it will be covered when you close your card. Use the Peaceful Pine ink and stamp the “you always make me smile” greeting.

Velvet Meadow Trifold Arches Card

This trifold arches card highlights this beautiful floral paper from the Velvet Meadows designer series paper from Stampin’ Up and the Flowering Meadow stamp set. The paper really does all the work so all it needed was a greeting from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set and some dragonflies to add just a little extra.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Peaceful Pine card stock (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
Basic Beige card stock (Stampin’ Up)
Velvet Meadow designer series paper (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
Scalloped Blooms stamp set (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
Arches dies (Stampin’ Up or other brand)
Peaceful Pine ink (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
Adhesive-backed Dragonflies and Birds (retired Stampin’ Up)
Paper trimmer
Adhesive of choice

From Peaceful Pine card stock cut a piece to 2 ¾” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼” and another to 2 ¾” x 4 ¾” and score at ½”. Adhere the ½” section of the shorter piece to the right back side of the 8 ½” long piece. Fold into a “z” shape by folding the first panel back and the back panel forward.

Use an arch die measuring about 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” to cut four pieces from Basic Beige card stock. Then use an arch die measuring about 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” and cut three panels from the floral piece from the Velvet Meadows designer series paper pack. Adhere each of the floral arch pieces to the Basic Beige arches, keeping them in order so they flow well. Adhere each of your arch pieces to your Peaceful Pine base, leaving about an 1/8” around the three sides for each panel.

Use your Peaceful Pine Ink and the “happy birthday” stamp from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set and stamp on the upper right of your front panel. With the Adhesive-backed Dragonflies and Birds embellishments and adhere six of the dragonflies, two per panel around.

For the back of your card adhere the fourth arch, aligning with the one on the front. Use the Peaceful Pine ink and stamp the”wishing you a day of relaxation, happiness, and love” greeting on the upper center. You could also adhere a few dragonflies here as well, I didn’t think about it until now so I may go back and do that.

What a lovely birthday card for any female in your life.

Velvet Meadow Popup Card

The flocked paper from the Velvet Meadow designer series paper from Stampin’ Up is so pretty, and this muted piece is my favorite piece so I had to find a card design that would showcase it. This popup card with a simple little daisy and tag just made it perfect.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Cloud Cover card stock (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
Golden Glow card stock (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
White card stock

There is some cutting to start, but then it all just goes together very quickly. Cut the following:

Cloud Cover card stock:

4 ¼” x 5 ½” card base, score at 1”, 1 ¾”, 3 ¾” and 4 ½”
1 3/8” x 2 ¾” for the back label
3 ½” x 4 ½” for center panels and scored at ½” x 1 ¼”, 3 ¼” and 4”, then cut into two strips ¾” wide leaving the center strip at 2” wide.

White card stock:

1 7/8” x 4 1/8” for the back panel
1 3/8” x 2 ¾” for the back label

Muted Floral flocked paper:

Four pieces to 7/8” x 4 1/8”, two for front and two for back panels
Four pieces to 5/8” x 4 1/8”, two for front and two for back panels
1 7/8” x 4 1/8”

Cloud Cover checked paper:

Four pieces 5/8” x 5/8” for sides of top and bottom panels
Four pieces to 5/8” x 1 7/8 for the two centers of the top and bottom panels and two side of the center panel
1 7/8” x 1 7/8” for center of the center panel

Take your card base and from the right fold down, up, up and down, then adhere the center and one side of each of the center panels with the 1 7/8” x 4 1/8” and two 5/8” x 4 1/8”. Then fold each of your Cloud Cover strip from the right up, down, down, up and adhere the blue checked pieces to your three strips. Now adhere each of your skinny strips to top section and bottom section by adhering to your outside panels of your card base, and then the larger panel to the center between the other two. Adhere two of the 7/8” wide floral flocked pieces to each outside panel.

From the Flowering Meadow dies, cut two of the white daisy flowers from white card stock, two Golden Glow card stock center and one double stem from Cloud Cover card stock. Adhere together and then use mini pop dots to adhere the flower to the left side of your center panel. In Cloud Cover ink stamp the “hello” greeting from the Fabulous Sayings stamp set. Use the tag die from Scalloped Blooms dies to cut out and then with two pieces of linen thread folded in half to feed through the hole and then feed the ends through the loop, then trim. Adhere with linen thread slightly over your daisies using mini pop dots.

For the back panel of your card adhere the Velvet flocked floral strips to the two outside panels of each side. Adhere the white panel to the center panel. Adhere your white label piece to the Cloud Cover piece and stamp the “you’re on my mind” greeting stamped in Cloud Cover ink. Adhere the label to the back center panel in the upper section, angled slightly.

The muted colors and of course the white flocking makes this card a special one to give to someone special to you to tell them they are on your mind.

Velvet Meadow Z-Fold Panel Card

I finally got a chance to play with the Velvet Meadows designer series paper and Flowering Meadow stamps and dies set from Stampin’ Up. I use it to make this beautiful Z-Fold Panel card, or at least that is what I am calling it. This floral paper which has some bright colors that stand out but also muted colors as well along with flocking on some of the white flowers, I really like it and it was perfect for this card design.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Cloud Cover card stock (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
Bubble Bath card stock (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
White card stock
Velvet Meadow designer series paper (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
stamp set and dies (Stampin’ Up)

From a piece of Cloud Cover card stock cut a card base to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. From some Bubble Bath card stock cut a piece to 4 ¾” x 10 ½” and score at 3 ½” and 7”, then fold the center panel to the right and the top panel to the left forming your z-fold. From white card stock cut a piece to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” for the front of your Cloud Cover base. Then three pieces measuring 3 3/8” x 4 5/8”, one to 2 ¾” x 4” and one to 1 34” x 2 ¼”. From the Velvet Meadow designer series paper pack find the Cloud Cover piece that has a light design and then the full floral piece. With the Cloud Cover piece cut one to 4” x 5 ¼” and one to 1 5/8” x 2”. Cut three of the floral paper to 3 ¼” x 4 ½” and keep in order so it flows when card is open.

Take your Cloud Cover card base and adhere the white piece measuring 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” to the front of it, and then the Cloud Cover designer series paper piece measuring 4” x 5 ¼” to that. Now adhere the back right panel of the z-fold Bubble Bath piece to the center of the card base. Adhere the three white pieces to each panel of your pink z-fold. Then one of each of the floral pieces to the front of each of the white pieces. Adhere the white piece measuring 2 ¾” x 4” over the back floral piece of your card base.

From a scrap piece of Cloud Cover use the square label with scallop edge from the Scalloped Blooms dies. Adhere the white piece and then the small Cloud Cover designer series paper piece. Use Peaceful Pine ink to stamp the 3-flower stems (I did stamp off so they were not so dark), Daffodil Delight ink to stamp the three flowers and Berry Burst ink (stamped off) for the flower centers and use the dies to cut them out. Build the flower to the left side of your label. Use the tag die from the Scalloped Blooms dies and cut out a white tag, stamp the “thanks” stamp from the Flowering Meadows and stamp off and then stamp on the label. Then take a piece of Peaceful Pine Bordered Ribbon, feed it through the whole of your tag folded half and use a piece of white twine to wrap around the ribbon and tie into a bow. Adhere the tag slightly over your flowers to the right side of your label. Adhere the label to the front of your card in the lower center of the front panel.

Take the “you always make me smile” stamp from the Flowering Meadows stamp set and stamp (stamped off) in Peaceful Pine ink along the left side of your inside label.

What a beautiful card to tell someone they are special to you.

Bloom Boutique Happy Birthday Card

Used some angles for this card to give it a unique design. This beautiful floral paper from the Bloom Boutique designer series paper pack along with the stamps and dies of the Boutique Blossoms and Scalloped Blooms sets from Stampin’ Up made this lovely card.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Crisp Cantaloupe card stock (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
Petal Pink card stock (Stampin’ Up)

For your card base cut a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock to 4 ¼” x 11” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. With your white card stock cut a piece for the front to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and one for the inside to 4” x 5 ¼”. From the Bloom Boutique designer series paper find the light colored florals with the crisp cantaloupe theme and cut a piece to 4” x 5 ¼”.

Take your floral piece and a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe and angle the Crisp Cantaloupe piece across the right side of your floral piece in about 1” on the top right corner and about 1 ½” on the bottom left corner, adhere down and then flip over and cut your edges of the Crisp Cantaloupe up to your floral piece edges. Now angle the Petal Pink piece across the bottom about ¾” up on the left side and about 2” up on the right side, adhere down and flip over and trip again to your floral piece edges.

Now with your Crisp Cantaloupe ink and the filled in daisy stamp from the Boutique Blossoms stamp set and stamp five flowers and cut them out with the die. Also, with a piece of white card stock use the large leave sprig die to cut out one and then take the Peaceful Pine Light Blender Pen and color in the leaves, gives a lighter sprig than cut direct from Peaceful Pine which was what I tried first. Adhere your leaves sprig on the center of the Crisp Cantaloupe part of your card front and then four of the flowers on pop dots over them. Take the fifth flower and adhere to the left side of the Petal Pink piece. Now use your Crisp Cantaloupe ink and stamp the “happy birthday” from the Scalloped Blooms stamp set on the right side of the Petal Pink piece. Now adhere this to the white piece measuring 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and then adhere to the front of your card base.

For the inside of your card, adhere the white piece to the back panel. Use your Crisp Cantaloupe ink to stamp the same daisy flower in the lower left corner and the “wishing you a day of relaxation, happiness and lover greeting in the upper center.

What a bright and cheery birthday card for any friend of family member.

Bloom Boutique Split Fold Card

This card turned out really pretty with the new Hydrangea Hue color from 2026-2028 In Colors from Stampin’ Up. This card is made with the Bloom Boutique designer series paper and the Boutique Blossoms and Scalloped Blooms stamp and die sets. I have been wanting to make this split fold card as it has been a while and this paper worked perfectly.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Hydrangea Hue Pearlized Specialty Paper (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
White card stock
Bloom Boutique designer series paper (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
Boutique Blossoms stamp set and dies (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)

There is a bit of cutting, but then this card goes together quick. For you card base cut a piece of the Hydrangea Hue Pearlized 12” x 12” paper to 5 ½” x 12” and score at 2”, 4”, 6” and 8” and then starting for the large back panel, fold in, out, in and back out. Then with your paper trimmer cut 1 ¼” down from the top on panels 2 and 3. And then the same at the bottom, 1 ¼” up from the bottom on panels 2 and 3. Cut another piece to 2 7/8” x 3 3/8”.

From the Bloom Boutique designer series paper pack find the Hydrangea Hue colored pieces with the small flowers and then the piece with the florets. Cut the following:

Small flowers piece:

One piece to 3 ¾” x 5 ¼” for the back of your card
Two pieces to 1 ¾” x 5 ¼” for panel 1 and 4

Blue florets piece:

Two pieces to 1 ¾” x 3 ¾” for the center of panels 2 and 3
Four pieces to 1” x 1 ¾” for the top and bottom of panels 2 and 3

White card stock:

One piece to 3 7/8” x 5 3/8” for the back panel
One piece to 2 ¾” x 3 ¼” for the center of your back panel
Two pieces to 1 7/8” x 5 3/8” for panel 1 and 4
Two pieces to 1 7/8” x 2 7/8” for the center of panels 2 and 3
Four pieces to 1 1/8” x 1 7/8” for the top and bottom of panels 2 and 3

Now that the cutting is done just assembly each flower or floret piece to the coordinating white piece and adhere to the appropriate panel and laid out above. For panels 2 and three, the small top and bottom sections fold in while the larger center section folds out.

For the stamping, with your Hydrangea Hue ink stamp two of the medium sized flower by stamping the background stamped off and then stamping the outline over it. Use the Golden Glow Light Blender Pen to color the centers. Then stamp four of the small daisy flower outlines and color the centers of those with the Golden Glow Light Blender Pen. Use the appropriate dies to cut them out. Then cut out the large leaf and two of the three leaves dies in Hydrangia Hue card stock or Pearlized Specialty paper. From white card stock cut out the square label with the scalloped edge from the Scalloped Blooms dies and stamp the “you’re a blessing to me” greeting at the bottom above the scallops.

Adhere the large leaf leaving to the left and up leaving about an 1” from the top. Cut one leaf off where it won’t show. Adhere the two larger flowers as desired and then the three daisies around them. Adhere the two three leaf sets to the left and right sides of the others and then use the single leaf you cut off with one of the daisies.

For the inside I left it blank and just added one of the daisy flowers in the right corner.

Waterside Retreat Fish Birthday Stepper Card

The Waterside Retreat designer series paper contains some great masculine paper, including this fish and wave paper that make up this great card. Then you add in the anchor embellishment also from Stampin’ Up and what an adorable stepper card.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Misty Moonlight card stock (Stampin’ Up)
White card stock
Waterside Retreat designer series paper (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
Relaxing Waterside stamp set and dies (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
Cloud Cover ink (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
Loose Anchor Trinkets (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
Paper trimmer
Adhesive of choice

For this stepper card, cut a card base from Misty Moonlight card stock to 4 ¼” x 11” and score at 3 ½”, 7” and 9”. Cut another piece to 2 ¾” x 4”. From white card stock cut a 4” x 5 ¼” piece, one to 3 ¼ x 4” for the back of your card, one to 2 ½” x 3 ¾” and one to 1 ¾” x 4”. Now take your Waterside Retreat designer series paper pack and find the wave paper and the fish paper. From the wave paper cut a piece to 3 ¾” x 5” and another to ½” x 3 ¾”. Then from the fish paper cut a piece to 2 ¼” x 3 ½”, making sure you are capturing your fish the way you want.

Fold you card base into an “M” shape with the larger section to the back. Take the white pieces measuring 4” x 5 ¼” and adhere the wave piece that is 3 ¾” x 5” and then adhere it to the front of the larger section of your card base leaving 1/8” on all three sides. Now adhere the small wave piece to the small white piece and adhere that to the front of the small section.

Now take the other piece of Misty Moonlight and adhere to white piece measure 2 ½” x 3 ¾” to it and then the fish piece to the front of the white portion. Now adhere this over you wave paper on the small section centered among both sections. Take the “have a great birthday” greeting stamp from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set and stamp on white card stock in Cloud Cover ink Cut out to a rectangle and cut out a “v” section at the right end to form a flag label. Add a wave into your flag and adhere the left and right sides at the bottom of your fish paper. Then adhere your anchor embellishment to the left side of your label.

For the back of your card adhere the 3 ¼” x 4” white piece to the back of your card on the Misty Moonlight section. Use the “today is your day” stamp from the Relaxing Waterside stamp set and stamp in Cloud Cover ink in the upper center.

Great birthday card for the men in your life.

Moonlit Flora Amazing Friend Moth Double Z-Fold Card

I love this Moonlit Flora designer series paper from Stampin’ Up and I have wanted to do something to highlight the green moth so this is the design I came up with to do that. A double Z-fold card with the Moonlit Flora designer series paper and the Fern & Flora stamp set and dies.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Secret Sea card stock (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
White card stock
Moonlit Flora designer series paper (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
Fern & Flora stamp set and dies (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
Dewdrops Embellishments (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
Secret Sea ink (2025 – 2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
Paper trimmer
Adhesive of choice
Pop dots

For you card base cut a piece of Secret Sea card stock 7 ½” x 10 ¼” and score at 4 ¼” and 7 ¼”, then cut 2” off the bottom to make a 5 ½” x 10 ¼” card base. From white card stock cut the following:

One 1 7/8” x 4 1/8”
Two 1 7/8” x 2 7/8”
Two 2 7/8” x 5 3/8”
One 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”
One 1 ½” x 2 ½”

Take the Moonlit Flora designer series paper and find the firms piece with the white moths and large green moth and the one with the Secret Sea diamond shapes. Cut out the large moth. Cut the white moth paper into three sections with the first two measuring 2 ¾” x 5 ¼” and the last section to 4” x 5 ¼”. From the Secret Sea blue diamond paper cut one piece to 1 ¾” x 4” and two to 1 ¾” x 2 ¾”. Fussy cut out the large green moth.

Take your scored card base with the large section of the right and fold the two sections to the right and then the last section to the left. Adhere each white piece to each section and then your fern pieces to the front of each white piece in order so they flow. Do the same with the long strip except it goes the opposite direction with the large section as the top first piece and the short section to the back of the card. Adhere the long section of the strip to the front short section of your card about 1” up from the bottom making sure to only put adhesive where needed. Then adhere the short section to the back of your card base.

With some white card stock stamp the “you’re an amazing friend” greeting in Secret Sea ink and then stamp the label stamp around it. Then use the label die to cut it out. Adhere to the front left side of the blue diamond paper on the strip using pop dots. Then adhere the large moth you cut out with pop dots overlaying on your label. Ad a few of the Secret Sea embellishments from the Dewdrops Embellishments around your moth and label area.

Adhere the last smallest white piece to the middle section of the strip.

I really wanted to use the large green moth and this card layout makes it the star, love the way it turned out.
