Lovely Blossoms Floral Double Z-Fold Card

I am infatuated with this card made with the Lovely Blossoms designer series paper and the Lovely Arrangements stamps and dies.  This is one of those card where I came up with what I wanted to do in my head and it actually turned out just like I pictured it, which doesn’t usually happen.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Cloud Cover card stock (2025-2027 Incolor Stampin’ Up)
  • Old Olive card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Lovely Blossoms designer series paper (Stampin’ Up)
  • Lovely Arrangements stamp set and dies (Stampin’ Up)
  • Cloud Cover ink (2025-2027 Incolor Stampin’ Up)
  • Secret Sea Stampin’ Write Marker (2025-2027 Incolor Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Scoring Board or scoring blade from trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

From a piece of Cloud Cover card stock cut a card base to 7” x 8 ½” and score at 2 1/8” and 4 ¼” and fold into your “Z” shape.  Cut 1 ½” off the top to make your card base measure 5 ½” x 8 ½” and then you have a matching strip for you double “Z”.  With your white card stock cut a piece to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and two pieces to 2” x 5 3/8”

Take the Lovely Blossoms designer series paper pack and pull out a piece of the Cloud Cover striped paper and a piece of the Cloud Clover with white flowers.  From the striped paper cut a piece to 4” x 5 ¼”.  Take the floral piece and cut two pieces to 1 7/8” x 5 ¼”.  Adhere each of these pieces to the white pieces.  Adhere the stripes paper on the white to the back of your card base.  Take one for floral pieces on white and adhere to the front half fold and the other to the inside center section.  Then take the 1 ½” long “Z” fold and adhere the long end to the front of your card and the short end to the back of your card to form your Double “Z” fold.

Grab a piece of white card stock along with your Cloud Cover ink, Secret Sea Stampin’ Write marker and your Lovely Arrangements stamps and dies.  With the full flower stamp, tap your stamp onto your Cloud Cover ink and then take the marker and color the center and stamp on your white card stock.  Clean your stamp and repeat 3 more times.  Then do the same 4 times with the half flower.  Use your dies to cut these all out.  Then with some Old Olive card stock and the single and double leaf dies, cut two of each.

Also stamp the “Thank You” and then the “So very much” underneath it, both in Cloud Cover Ink and use a label die to cut it out.

To start building your flowers across your strip, adhere your label hanging above the strip, then adhere two full flowers and one half and a double leaf and two single leaves.

Then adhere one full and one half to each of the small sections and divide your double leave into two singles and use one on each part.  The thing you may want to pay a little attention to, which I didn’t, is the flowers showing when the card it closed, but I don’t think it is a big deal, just mentioning if it will bother you.

For the inside I used a label I had laying around as it was the perfect size, but I would say you can just cut a piece to 1 7/8” x 3” and adhere to the upper left side.  Then I adhere the last half flower to the bottom which looks like it is in the background of all the flowers on the strip and decorates your label.  This card turned out exactly as I picture I my head when I planned it, which is not usually the case.

Framed Florets Bi-Fold Card

This bi-fold card made with Fitting Florets designer series paper from Stampin’ Up turned out really cute.  I actually had two pre-cut and scored stepper card cut but didn’t want to make two so I used it to make this bi-fold card.  It used the Framed Florets stamps and dies as well.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Night of Navy card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Balmy Blue card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Fitting Florets designer series paper (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Framed Florets stamp set and dies (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Pre-cut label (unknown Stampin’ Up)
  • Night of Navy ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink Gems
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From a piece of Night of Navy card stock, cut a card base to 5 ½ x 6 ½ and fold in half to 3 ¼” x 5 ½”.  Cut another piece to 3” x 6 ½” and fold in half to 3” x 3 ¼”.  From the Balmy Blue card stock cut a piece to 2 7/8” x 3 1/8” and another to 3 1/8” x 5 1/8”.  With a piece of white card stock cut a piece for the inside to 2 7/8” x 3 1/8”.

Grab your Fitting Florets designer series paper pack and find the piece of Night of Navy with the Balmy Blue sprigs and pink berries.  Cut a piece to 2 ¾” x 3” and two pieces to 3” x 5 ¼” (there is a bit of a direction to this paper so you may want to pay attention).  Also find the piece that has the large floral groups on it and find the pink set and cut out with the die.

Take the card base measuring 3 ¼” x 5 ½” and adhere one of the larger pieces of Balmy Blue to the front and then one of the larger pieces of the designer series paper.  Do the same for the inside back.  Then take your Night of Navy piece that you folded to 3” x 3 ¼” and adhere the Balmy Blue to the front and then the designer series paper piece, and adhere the white piece to the back of the inside.

Take your small folded piece and put glue on 2” of the back and adhere to the inside of your larger piece in the center leaving 1” hanging off and 1” from the inside edge, making your card measure 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.

Now take the pre-cut label (or any other label that works) and stamp the “Celebrate!” greeting angled on your label in Night of Navy ink and adhere with pop dots toward the upper left corner of your small front section.  Adhere the flower you die cut with po dots to the lower right corner, over the lower part of your label.  Add a few of the Strawberry Slush and Pretty In Pink Gems to decorate.

For the inside stamp the “Wishes for a beautiful birthday” greeting in Night of Navy ink.

There is an adorable birthday card for anyone in your life.

Magical Meadows Winter Wishes Card

I love how this card turned out, the Blueberry Bushel paper is usually a bit bright for me, but I love it with this paper and stamps.  The Winter Meadows designer series paper is one of my favorite holiday papers from Stampin’ Up.  The Magical Meadows stamps and dies are also just such great sets.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Blueberry Bushel card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Winter Meadows designer series paper (Stampin’ Up)
  • Magical Meadows stamp set and dies (Stampin’ Up)
  • Rectangle label die (unknown)
  • Blueberry Bushel ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Scoring board to scoring blade for paper trimmer
  • Adhesive-backed Pearls, the packages say Red and Green Adhesive-Backed Pearls but they are silver and gold, and I have more than one pack and they all say that (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From the Blueberry Bushel card stock cut a card base to 4 ¼” x 8 ¼”, and score at 2 ¾” and fold the short side to the front.  Then cut another piece to 2 ½” x 7”, then score at 3 ½” and fold in half.  From white card stock cut a piece to 2 ¼” x 3 ¼” for the inside of your card.  Take your Winter Meadows designer series paper and find the blue tree paper and also the Blueberry Bushel speckled paper.  From the tree paper cut a piece to 4” x 5 ¼” and another to 2 ½” x 4”.  From the Blueberry Bushel speckled paper cut a piece to 2 ¼” x 3 ¼”.

Take your card base and your two tree pieces and adhere the smaller tree piece to the front panel and the larger tree panel to the inside.  Now take the smaller piece of Blueberry Bushel card stock and with the fold facing to the left adhere the back to the center of the large tree paper and then fold over the front of the smaller panel.  Adhere the white piece to the inside of the small, folded piece and adhere the Blueberry Bushel speckled paper to the front of the small, folded piece.

Use a rectangle label die measuring about 2” x 3 1/8” to cut out your label from white card stock. Use the trees stamp from the Magical Meadow stamp set and stamp in the lower left corner of your label in Blueberry Bushel ink.  The stamp the “Winter Wishes” with Blueberry Bushel ink in the upper right corner of your label.  Adhere your label to the front of the small folded piece with pop dots.  Put a few random silver Adhesive-Backed Pearls around on the label.

For the inside of your card use a scrap piece of Blueberry Bushel card stock and the two sizes of tree dies in the Magical Meadows dies and cut out one of each size.  Adhere these to the lower left corner on the white card stock on the inside of your card.  Then in Blueberry Bushel ink stamp the “may this season of sparkle bring joy and delight” greeting stamp in the upper center of the white inside.

Here is a really pretty holiday card to welcome the holidays to anyone!

Painterly Pears Double Z-Fold Card

I am in love with this card, the colors go together so well (even though they are University of Michigan colors, Michigan State fan here 😊).  All of the paper in this Painterly Pears designer series paper pack from Stampin’ Up is just so elegant.  And it is a different take on a Z-Fold card which is one of my favorites.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Secret Sea card stock (2025-2027 In Colors Stampin’ Up)
  • Darling Duckling card stock (2025-2027 In Colors Stampin’ Up)
  • Painterly Pears designer series paper (2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Perfectly Pears stamp and dies set (Stampin’ Up)
  • Low-Profile Sparkle Dots
  • Secret Sea ink (2025-2027 In Colors Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

From a piece of Secret Sea card stock cut your card base to 5 ½” x 8 ¼” and score at 2 ¾” and 5 ½” and fold into a “Z” shape.  With your Darling Duckling card stock cut a piece to 2 ¾” x 8 ¼” and score at 2 ¾” and at 5 ½” and fold into the same “Z” fold.

In your Painterly Pears designer series paper pack find the Secret Sea color pear paper, the Darling Duckling pear paper and the Darling Duckling checker paper.  From the Secret Sea pear paper cut three pieces to 2 ½” x 5 ¼” and adhere to each of your three Secret Sea card base pieces.  Then cut two of the Darling Ducking pear pieces to 2 ½” x 2 ½” and adhere to the first and second panels of the Darling Duckling “Z” fold.  From the Darling Duckling checker designer series paper cut a piece to 2 ½” x 2 ½” and adhere that to the third panel of the Darling Duckling card stock.

To adhere your “Z” folds together, center the Darling Duckling “Z-fold” paper into the Blue “Z-Fold” and then measure to make your yellow hang out about half way and making your card measure 4” or so across and then adhere down, making sure you are only putting adhesive on the part that hits the blue “Z”.

Cut a piece of 2” x 2” Darling Duckling card stock and with your “A good friend is a gift” greeting stamp from the Perfectly Pears stamp set and Secret Sea ink stamp and then adhere to the back panel of your Darling Duckling “Z-fold”.  On a small scrap piece of Darling Duckling and your Secret Sea ink stamp the “Friend” greeting and use the small label die from Perfectly Pear dies to cut it out, or cut out by hand.  Adhere the Friend label on a angle in the lower right corner of your front Darling Duckling panel and then add three small Low-Profile Sparkle Dots that come in the Perfectly Pears suite around on that front panel.

This is such an elegant card for any friend to show you care!

Tent Fold Stepper Peaceful Garden Card

I have seen a few of these online as ideas, but this one came from my Stampin’ Up upline in one of her Thursday night Facebook lives at My Stamping Style.  It was a really cute design that I hadn’t seen before, but I have now saw a few times since.  It folds into a normal 4 ¼” x 5 ½” card but forms a stand for a 4” x 4 ¼” card with a front step.    I used the Peaceful Gardens to make this charming card.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Secret Sea card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Cloud Cover card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Peaceful Garden designer series paper (Stampin’ Up)
  • Secret Sea ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Hues of Blue flower embellishments (Stampin’ Up)
  • Scoring board or paper trimmer scoring blade
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

With your Secret Sea card stock a piece to 4 ¼” x 11” and score at 4”, 8”, 9” and 10”.  From the 4” end, fold the 4” to the 8” score, fold the 9” score up and then the 10” score down.  With your Cloud Cover card stock, cut two pieces to 3 7/8” x 4 1/8” and a piece to 7/8” x 3 7/8”.  From the Peaceful Garden designers series paper, find the white hydrangea paper and cut a piece to 3 ¾” x 4”.  Then find the Cloud Cover paper and cut a piece to ¾” x 3 ¾”.

Adhere one of the pieces of Cloud Cover to the front of the 4” x 4 ¼” fold up piece and then adhere the white hydrangea designer series paper.  Adhere the 7/8” x 4 1/8” piece of Coud Cover to the front of the step and then the Cloud Cover designer series paper piece to the front of that.

Take a spare piece of Cloud Cover card stock and the small label from the Peace on Earth dies and cut a label, and then with the larger label die cut one from Secret Sea, adhere together.  From white card stock die cut the dove with wings up.  With the Peace on Earth stamp set and your Secret Sea ink stamp the “Sending” and “Heartfelt Prayers” together on your label.  Adhere the dove to the upper left of your label and add one large and two small flower embellishments from the Hues of Blue flower embellishments.  Adhere the label to the front of you step about ½’ up from the bottom of your step.

With the second piece of Cloud Cover you cut, your Secret Sea ink and the “with deepest sympathy” greeting from the Peace on Earth stamp set.  Adhere to the inside of your card.

That makes your Peaceful Garden Tent Fold Stepper card.

Floral Charm Bucket Card

This bright and cheery card made with the Floral Charm designer series paper and the Charming Day set from Stampin’ Up as a lovely way to say high to a good friend you haven’t spoke to in a bit.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Timid Tiger card stock (July 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Floral Charm designer series paper (July 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Scalloped label nesting dies (Sizzix 138282)
  • Mossy Meadow ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Blender Pens
  • Timid Tiger (light and dark)
  • Mossy Meadow (light and dark)
  • Orange ribbon
  • Scoring board or paper trimmer scoring blade
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

With your Timid Tiger card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half.  Then cut another piece to 2 ½” x 4” for the buckle flap.  From the Floral Charm designer series paper find the piece that has the orange flowers on the front and the Mossy Meadow on the back.  From the Mossy Meadow cut a piece to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and a piece to 2 3/8” x 3”.  From the floral side cut a piece to 4” x 5 ¼”.  For the inside of your card cut a piece of white card stock to 4” x 5 ¼”.

Take the Timid Tiger piece you cut to 2 ½” x 4” and the Mossy Meadow piece you cut to 2 3/8” x 3” along with your two larger label tags dies, one measuring about 2” wide and one about 1 ¾” wide.  I then partially cut from the decorative side but not all the way to the end and then finished cutting them with scissors for length.  Then I trimmed the length of the Timid Tiger piece to 3 ½” long and scored in from the flat edge ½”.  Then I trimmed the Mossy Meadow piece to 3 3/8” in length to layer.  Fold the Timid Tiger at the score mark and with the ½” score facing down, adhere the Mossy Meadow piece to the top lining up at the straight scored edge.  To adhere place on the front of your card and fold the ½” score down and adhere to the center of the inside of your card.

Take a spare piece of white card stock and also the piece you cut for the inside of your card and with your Black Momento ink and the single rose stamp from the Charming Day stamp set and stamp on your spare piece and in the lower left corner of your piece for the inside of your card.

With your Timid Tiger Blender Pen light and color in both flowers and then accent with the Timid Tiger Blender Pen dark.  Color the leaves of both with your Mossy Meadow Blender Pen light and accent with the Mossy Meadow Blender Pen dark.  Now take the “can’t wait to see you again soon” greeting stamp and your Mossy Meadow ink and stamp your greeting on the inside piece.  Adhere to the inside of your card.

Now to finish the outside of your card adhere the Mossy Meadow piece to the front of your card and then the orange floral piece to that.  Take the other flower you colored and use the Charming Day dies to cut it out.  Adhere it to the left part of your buckle with pop dots.  Then take the ¾” wide label die and cut out a label with a spare piece of white card stock.   Take your Mossy Meadow ink and the “hey” greeting stamp and stamp and then adhere the label to the right upper section of your buckle.  Take a piece of orange ribbon and tie a bow and adhere that to the top of the label.

You have made a great card to send to someone you haven’t seen in a while to let them know you are looking forward to seeing them soon.

Beautiful Gallery Marina Accordion Fold Card

This is a great masculine card for any male in your life and is so lovely.  It is fairly quick and easy since the paper does the work, just takes a little time cutting the paper to line up.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Secret Sea card stock (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Basic Beige card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Beautiful Garden designer series paper (2025 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Label die
  • Happiest of Birthdays stamp set (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Secret Sea ink (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Scoring board or scoring blade for trimmer
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

Take your Secret Sea card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 11” and score at 3 ¼”, 5 1/8”, 8” and 9 ½”.  From the 3 ¼” first score, fold the next section in and then accordion fold from there with the last piece forming your card front.

From the Beautiful Gallery designer series paper find the piece of brown paint and then two of the marina painting.  From the brown paint piece cut a piece to 1 3/8” x 5 3/8” and a second to 1 ¾” x 5 3/8”.  Adhere the 1 3/8” wide piece to the second panel and the 1 ¾” piece to the 4th panel.

Cutting the marina papers is where it takes a bit of paying attention to get it to all line up to form the same picture when the card is closed.  Trim both pieces of the Marina paper together to 5 3/8” in height so that the picture is the same exact height for both.  Start by cutting the piece for the back, I cut a bit off the right side so it had the single boat starting at the right which then when folded will have all the boats showing, cut to 3 1/8” x 5 3/8”.  Adhere to the back portion of your card.  Fold in the middle and take the second piece of marina paper and see where the boats align to the right and trim to there.  Then cut in from the right to 2 ¾” x 5 3/8”.  Now fold in the front panel and take the leftover piece from the first piece of marina paper and again figure out where the boats need to align and trim the right and then cut to 1 3/8” 5 3/8”.  Andere to the front which gives you your picture when folded and a nice scenic view when open.

From the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set find the “it’s your day enjoy it!” greeting and stamp onto some Basic Beige in Secret Sea ink.  Take your label die and cut out your greeting.  Adhere only a bit of the label to the front panel making your label centered when your card is closed.

Cut a piece of Basic Beige to 3” x 5 ¼” for the back of your card.  Take the “wishing you the happiest of birthdays” greeting stamp and your Secret Sea ink and stamp in the upper center.  Adhere your piece of Basic Beige to the back of the back panel of your card.

There is a great guy birthday card for when you need it.

Floral Charm Step Easel Card

I love the colors of this card and this beautiful paper from Floral Charm designer series paper from Stampin’ Up.  This step easel card was a bit of a different design and perfect to showcase this paper.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Night of Navy card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Pink card stock (mulit-pack from Michael’s)
  • Floral Charm designer series paper (July 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Charming Day stamp set (July 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Birthday Wishes for a Wonderful Birthday stamp (PSX F-318)
  • Night of Navy ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots (July 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Scoring board or paper trimmer scoring blade
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

From the Night of Navy card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼” and 6 3/8” and fold into a “Z” shape.  Also cut a piece to 3 ½” x 4” and score at 3 ½” and then a piece to 1” x 3” for the label.  From the pink card stock cut two pieces to 3 1/8” x 3 1/8” and one to 1 7/8” x 5 ¼” and another to 7/8” x 2 7/8”.

From the Floral Charm designer series paper find the piece with the pink roses and the Night of Navy floral back.  From the blue side cut a piece to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and two pieces to 2” x 5 3/8”.  From the rose side cut a piece to 3” x 3” and another to 1 7/8” x 5 ¼”.

Take the small label piece of pink card stock cut to 7/8” x 2 7/8” and the Charming Day stamp set and find the ”happy birthday” stamp and then stamp in Night of Navy, then adhere to the Night of Navy piece.  Then with the “best wishes for a wonderful birthday” greeting stamp and with the Night of Navy stamp onto the pink piece cut to 1 7/8” x 5 ¼”.

To assemble start by adhering the large Night of Navy floral piece to the back of your card base behind the flap.  Now take the Night of Navy piece you cut to 3 1/3” x 4” and put adhesive on the ½” portion and adhere to the center of the top of your card base for the flap.  Then adhere the 3 1/8” x 3 1/8” pink piece and then the 3” x 3” pink roses paper.    Take the other 3” x 3” pink piece and adhere under the flap on the Night of Navy floral piece.

Then on the two lower sections, adhere the two Night of Navy pieces.  Adhere the pink piece with your greeting to the center section and then the pink floral piece to the bottom section.  Now take the small label and with pop dots adhere to the front of the rose lower section, making sure it is covered when the top flap is closed.  To finish adhere a few embellishment dots from the Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots to the rose paper on the top flap.

I can’t wait to give this card to one of my friends as it turned out so nice with beautiful colors.
