Prairie Grass Here For You Card

This is a quick and easy card that you can use for any occasion by just changing the greeting.  This is made using the Prairie Grass stamp set from Stampin’ Up.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • White card stock
  • Prairie Grass stamp set (August 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Old Olive ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Seaside Spray ink (retired 2019-2021 In Colors Stampin’ Up)
  • Chocolate Chip ink (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Blending Brushes
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From white card stock cut a piece to 4 ¼” x 11” and fold in half for your card base.  Then cut another to 4” x 5 ¼” and another to 3 ¾” x 5”.

With the 3 ¾” x 5” piece of white card stock, take your Old Olive ink and a blender brush and color the lower half of the paper, then do the upper portion with the Seaside Spray ink.  With the large grass stamp from the Prairie Grass stamp set and your Chocolate Chip ink stamp to the left side running off just a bit.

On a scrap piece of white card stock use the “You’re not alone I’m here for you” greeting and stamp in Chocolate Chip ink.  Use the oval die from the Traditional Labels dies to cut out.  Adhere to the upper right corner about ¾” from the top.

Adhere to the 4” x 5 ¼” piece of white card stock and then adhere that to the card base with pop dots.

For the inside of the card take the “sometimes life is just hard” greeting stamp in Chocolate Chip ink toward the top.  In the lower left corner stamp the medium sized grass in Chocolate Chip ink.

You have a nice card to give to someone who has lost someone or is just having a hard time.  At least it can let them know you are thinking about them and are there for them.

Prairie Grass Banner Pop-Up Card

The fall colors with this card turned out great, they just blend together with the Thoughtful Journey designer series paper.  Then adding the Prairie Grass stamp set from Stampin’ Up just added to it.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Cajan Craze card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Peach Pie card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Thoughtful Journey designer series paper (Stampin’ Up)
  • Prairie Grass stamp set (August 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Cajan Craze ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Scoring board or blade for trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

From Cajan Craze card stock cut a card base to 4 ¼” x 11” and fold in half to form your card base.  Then cut another piece to 1” x 11” and score at ½”, 5 ½” and 10 ½” and fold all in.  Cut four pieces to 2 ¼” x 3”.  From the Peach Pie card stock cut two pieces to 2” x 2 ¾”.

From the Thoughtful Journey designer series paper pack find two of the peach sky with Cajan Craze grass and then two pieces with the peachy lake and Cajan Craze and white landscape.  With the Peach sky with Cajan Craze grass cut a piece to 4” x 5 ½” for the front of your card and then from the other piece cut two to 2” x 2 ¾” of the Cajan Craze grassy area.  From the two peachy lake pieces cut to 4” x 5 ¼” for the inside background of your card.

With your Prairie Grass stamp set and Cajan Craze ink, stamp three of the medium grass stamps (slightly stamped off so they are not so dark).  With the “So very sorry” stamp and the Cajan Craze ink and stamp in the upper right corner.  Adhere to the front of your card base.

For the inside of your card start with adhering the two peach lake pieces, one to the top portion and one to the bottom portion.  Take your two Peach Pie pieces and Cajan Craze ink and stamp one of the small grass stamps (stamped off lightly) to the left side of one and to the right side of the other.  On the one where you stamped the grass to the left also stamp in Cajan Craze ink the “You’re not alone I’m here for you” greeting to the right side.

Adhere your two stamped Peach Pie pieces and your two Thoughtful Journey pieces to the four pieces of Cajan Craze.  Adhere one of your grass pieces and then your Peach Pie greeting piece to the upper portion of your of the strip and the other two to the lower portion.  Now adhere the top of your strip to the top of the inside of your card, aligned with the designer series paper, then adhere to the bottom, aligned with the bottom of the designer series paper.

This gives a lovely card to add a little cheer to someone’s day who is having a tough time or has had a loss in their life.

Flowering Rain Boots Card

I had to have this Flowering Rain Boots stamps and dies set when they came out as I just love goloshes, especially mine, but they are purple (though I would prefer polka dot).

To create this card, you need a few things:

  • Sahara Sand card stock
  • Petal Pink card stock
  • Cinnamon Cider card stock
  • White card stock
  • Flowering Fields designer series paper
  • Flowering Rain Boots stamp set and dies
  • Cheerful Daisies label die
  • Umbrella die if you have one (nice touch but not required)
  • Rain drops embossing folder
  • Sahara Sand ink
  • Cinnamon Cider ink
  • Sweet Sorbet ink
  • Petal Pink Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends markers
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

The list of what you need looks like a lot, but it is all mainly little scraps excluding the Sahara Sand and Petal Pink card stock.  Take your Sahara Sand card stock and cut a piece to 5 ½” x 8 ½”, folding in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  Then cut another piece to 4” x 5 ¼”.  With your Petal Pink card stock, cut a piece to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and a second piece for the inside of your card to 4” x 5 ¼”.

Now take a piece of Cinnamon Cider card stock, your Cinnamon Cider ink and the clay pot stamp from the Flowering Rain Boots set and stamp the pot.  Use the clay pot die to cut out your clay pot along with the rake. I then dabbed the hand of the rake in the Cinnamon Cider ink to give it a bit of a darker color.  Take a scrap piece of white, your Sahara Sand ink and the daisies stamp from the Flowering Rain Boots set and stamp the daisies.  Use your Petal Pink Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends marker to color in your daisies.  Then take your Petal Pink Light Stampin’ Blends marker and color a background for the seed pack, and then with your Sweet Sorbet ink stamp off first and then stamp your seed pack on your colored Petal Pink background.  “Stamp off” mean to ink your stamp as normal and then stamp it lightly onto a scrap and then stamp with it, this gives you’re a lighter color.  Take a scrap piece of Petal Pink card stock and the Sweet Sorbet ink and stamp the “rain or shine I’m here for you” and use the label die from Cheerful Daisies to cut out the greeting.

Now take the polka dot designer series paper and your Sahara Sand ink and with the rubber boots or goloshes stamp and then use the die to cut these out.  I added an additional touch for the inside which was to die cut out an umbrella with the polka dot paper as well, but that is not part of the Flowering Rain Boots set, that is a die I have from InLoveArts, so if you don’t have an umbrella die then just skip this step.

Let’s assemble.  Take your Saraha Sand card base and adhere the 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” piece of Petal Pink to the front of it.  Take your piece of Sahara Sand card stock and run it through an embossing machine with the raindrops embossing folder and then adhere that to the front of the petal pink piece on the front of your card.  Now adhere your pieces:  Rain boots or goloshes, the pot with the daisies overlapping on the top, the seed pack slightly over the edge of the pot and the rake over top of the seed pack.  Add your greeting label to the upper right corner.

Now for the inside, take your remaining piece of Petal Pink we cut for the inside and if you have an umbrella adhere that in the upper right corner of the Petal Pink piece.  With your Sweet Sorbet ink and the “every storm that comes also ends” stamp from the Flowering Rain Boots set stamp your greeting.  Adhere that to the inside of your card.

You now have such a cute card to give to someone who if feeling a bit down.
