Stargazing UFO Out of This World Card

I received the Spellbinders 2025 Advent as a gift and one of the dies and stamp sets was all related to UFOs.  There is a die set for the UFOs and a stamp set with a few sayings to coordinate.  I used In The Pines stamps and dies from Stampin’ Up for the trees on the inside of the card and their Stargazing designer series paper which matched perfect for the front of the card.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Light Blue card stock (unknown)
  • Misty Moonlight card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Silver glitter card stock (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Gold glitter card stock (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Stargazing designer series paper (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Out of this World word stamps (Advent 2025 Spellbinders)
  • In The Pines stamps and dies (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • UFO dies S2-428 W20 (Advent 2025 Spellbinders)
  • Tempting Turquise ink (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Soft Suede ink (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Mossy Meadow in (Stampin’ Up)
  • Wink of Stella glitter pen (Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

With the light blue card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half and another piece to 3 ¾” x 5” for the inside and a label to ¾” x 2”.  From Misty Moonlight card stock cut a piece to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and another for the inside to 4” x 5 ¼”.  From the Stargazing designer series paper pack find the piece with the blue galaxy with the stary background and cut a piece to 4” x 5 ¼” that has the galaxy running through the middle with stars showing around it.

From a scrap piece of the light blue paper cut two of the round pieces with the window holes and two of the saucer pieces.  Cut the bottom portion of the round pieces.  From the silver glitter paper cut two of the background pieces.  From the gold glitter paper die cut one of the beams pieces and break into three.  Use a sponge and sponge the edges of your round pieces and your saucer pieces and then cover each piece in Wink of Stella for a shine.  Adhere the silver glitter pieces to the back of the circle and the saucer pieces to the top bottom of your ships.  Adhere your three gold glitter pieces beaming out of the bottom of one of your ships to use on the inside of your card.

Take the label piece you cut from light blue and stamp the “you are out of this world” greeting in Tempting Turquoise ink.  Use a sponge to sponge the edges with Tempting Turquoise ink and then cover the whole label with Wink of Stella to give it a shine.

Now adhere the 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” Misty Moonlight card stock to the front of your card and the Stargazing paper to the front of that.  Then use pop dots to adhere your no-beam space ship to the upper right corner of your card.  Adhere your label to the lower left corner with pop dots as well.

For the inside of your card adhere your light blue piece to your Misty Moonlight piece.  Use your Tempting Turquoise in and stamp the “rolling by to say hi” greeting in the upper center of your light blue piece.  With your In The Pines stamp set stamp two of the small single trees and one of the four grouped small trees in Soft Suede ink and then the fill in pieces with Mossy Meadow ink then die cut each of them.  Adhere the two single trees in the lower left corner and your grouped trees in the lower right corner.  Then adhere your space ship with the beams going slightly under your trees.  Then adhere your piece to the inside back of your card.

This card turned out so cute, took me a bit of time to get it finished but turned out better than I expected.

Nobel Deer In The Pines Birthday Card

This masculine birthday card made with Nobel Deer and In The Pines stamp sets from Stampin’ Up turned out so nice that I wish I had thought of this design a few weeks ago before my husband’s birthday so I could have used it.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Crumb Cake card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Mossy Meadow card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Earthen Elegance designer series paper (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Nobel Deer stamp set (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • In the Pines stamp set (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Spring Corners stamp set (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Stitched Hexagon dies – use the one that measures about 2” x 3 ¾” (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Early Expresso ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Mossy Meadow ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From a piece of Crumb Cake card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½” and another piece to 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” for the inside.  From Mossy Meadow cut two pieces to 4” x 5 ¼”.  From the Earthen Elegance (or some speckled tan paper) find the speckled gradient to Pretty Peacock and cut a piece in the tan part to 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”.

Adhere the speckled paper to one of the Mossy Meadow pieces.  Use the stitched hexagon die to cut out a hole in the center.  Take the cut-out piece and stamp the three deer stamp from the Nobel Deer stamp set in Early Expresso ink.  Take a scrap piece of the speckled paper and stamp the “happy birthday” stamp from the Spring Corners stamp set in the Mossy Meadow ink and trim to a small rectangle.  Adhere to a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock and cut out as a background.

With some scrap Crumb Cake card stock and the 4 small tree stamp with the trunk and stamp in Early Expresso and also one of the small single trees stamp twice.  Then use the fill in stamps with Mossy Meadow ink and stamp the fill-ins.  Use the dies to cut them out.  On the one with the 4 trees trim off the tree to the left and adhere that flat overhanging your inside border slightly and almost up to the center point.  Then use pop dots to adhere the other three over it about ½” up from the bottom of your card.  Then adhere the two single trees to the left side with the outside one up a bit higher and the inside one popped up with pop dots.  Adhere your “happy birthday” greeting between the trees.  Adhere to the front of your card with pop dots.  Then adhere your deer cut-out inside flat so that your outer edge is popped up around it.

For the inside adhere to piece of Mossy Meadow card stock and then the Crumb Cake on top of that.  Using your Early Expresso ink stamp the four small tree group with the trunks in the lower right corner.  Then use your Mossy Meadow ink to stamp the fill in green.  Then with your Mossy Meadow ink and the “wishing you an amazing day” corner greeting and stamp in the upper left corner.

I love how this masculine birthday card turned out and can’t wait to give it to someone soon.
