Birthday Tree Card

This birthday tree card is a great masquiline birthday card for anyone in your life.  This card is made with a three trees die from Jinshinging and Something Fancy stamps from Stampin’ Up.  It used the Softly Stippled designer series paper from Stampin’ Up as well.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Sahara Sand card stock (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Pebbled Path ink (Retired 2023-2025 In Colors Stampin’ Up)
  • Softly Stippled designer series paper (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Something Fancy stamp set (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Three Trees die (Jinshining Dies)
  • Pebbled Path ink (Retired 2023-2025 In Colors Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

To start this card, take a piece of Sahara Sand card stock and cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  Cut another piece to 3 ½” x 4 5/8”.  From the Pebbled Path card stock cut two pieces to 4” x 5 ¼” and another to 3 5/8” x 4 ¾”.  From your Softly Stippled designer series paper find the Pebbled Path woven design paper and cut a piece to 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”.

Take a scrap piece of Pebbled Path card stock and cut a piece to 3 ½” x 4 ½” and use your three trees die with the top of the trees toward to top of the paper so there is a large base left at the bottom, and cut.  Use the “grateful for the everyday magic of you” greeting stamp from the Something Fancy set and stamp in Pebbled Path ink at the bottom of your cut out trees.

Adhere your cut out trees piece to the 3 ½” x 4 5/8” piece of Sahara Sand and adhere that to the 3 5/8” x 4 ¾” piece of Pebbled Path card stock.  Adhere one of your 4” x 5 ¼” pieces of Pebbled Path card stock to the front of your card base, and then the woven paper to the front of that.  Now adhere your three tree pieces centered on the front of the woven paper.

For the inside of your card adhere the last piece of Pebbled Path card stock.  Stamp the “happy birthday” greeting in Pebbled Path ink in the upper center of the Pebbled Path piece on the inside of your card.

What an easy and masculine birthday card for anyone you care about.

Nobel Deer In The Pines Birthday Card

This masculine birthday card made with Nobel Deer and In The Pines stamp sets from Stampin’ Up turned out so nice that I wish I had thought of this design a few weeks ago before my husband’s birthday so I could have used it.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Crumb Cake card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Mossy Meadow card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Earthen Elegance designer series paper (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Nobel Deer stamp set (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • In the Pines stamp set (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Spring Corners stamp set (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Stitched Hexagon dies – use the one that measures about 2” x 3 ¾” (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Early Expresso ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Mossy Meadow ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From a piece of Crumb Cake card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½” and another piece to 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” for the inside.  From Mossy Meadow cut two pieces to 4” x 5 ¼”.  From the Earthen Elegance (or some speckled tan paper) find the speckled gradient to Pretty Peacock and cut a piece in the tan part to 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”.

Adhere the speckled paper to one of the Mossy Meadow pieces.  Use the stitched hexagon die to cut out a hole in the center.  Take the cut-out piece and stamp the three deer stamp from the Nobel Deer stamp set in Early Expresso ink.  Take a scrap piece of the speckled paper and stamp the “happy birthday” stamp from the Spring Corners stamp set in the Mossy Meadow ink and trim to a small rectangle.  Adhere to a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock and cut out as a background.

With some scrap Crumb Cake card stock and the 4 small tree stamp with the trunk and stamp in Early Expresso and also one of the small single trees stamp twice.  Then use the fill in stamps with Mossy Meadow ink and stamp the fill-ins.  Use the dies to cut them out.  On the one with the 4 trees trim off the tree to the left and adhere that flat overhanging your inside border slightly and almost up to the center point.  Then use pop dots to adhere the other three over it about ½” up from the bottom of your card.  Then adhere the two single trees to the left side with the outside one up a bit higher and the inside one popped up with pop dots.  Adhere your “happy birthday” greeting between the trees.  Adhere to the front of your card with pop dots.  Then adhere your deer cut-out inside flat so that your outer edge is popped up around it.

For the inside adhere to piece of Mossy Meadow card stock and then the Crumb Cake on top of that.  Using your Early Expresso ink stamp the four small tree group with the trunks in the lower right corner.  Then use your Mossy Meadow ink to stamp the fill in green.  Then with your Mossy Meadow ink and the “wishing you an amazing day” corner greeting and stamp in the upper left corner.

I love how this masculine birthday card turned out and can’t wait to give it to someone soon.

Delicate Pines Celebrate the Season Card

This dark card made with the Secret Sea pines paper from the Elegant Pines designer series paper from Stampin’ Up made a great holiday card.  I love the blend of colors that just brighten it enough.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Secret Sea card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Old Olive card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Shaded Spruce card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Cherry Cobbler card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Elegant Pines designer series paper (October 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Delicate Pines stamp set and dies (October 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Words of Beauty dies (November 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Faceted Snowflake embellishments (October 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Secret Sea ink (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

Take a piece of Secret Sea card stock and cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half.  From the Old Olive card stock cut a piece for the inside to 4” x 5 ¼” and a piece for your triangle to 5 ½” square, the cut from corner to corner to form two triangles.  From the Elegant Pine designer series paper cut a piece to 5 ¼” square and cut corner to corner to form two triangles.  Adhere your Secret Sea pines triangle to the Old Olive triangle, leaving an 1/8” or so edge on the two sides and lining the long edge up to each other.

From some scrap pieces of Old Olive card stock cut the longest label from the Words of Beauty dies and two sets of leaves from the Delicate Pines dies.  Then from some Shaded Spruce card stock cut two of the pine pieces from the Delicate Pines dies and cut in half to get four.  Cut two of the floral die from Cherry Cobbler card stock.

With the “Celebrate the Season” stamp from the Delicate Pines stamp set, stamp on the Old Olive label in Secret Sea Ink.  Adhere the label in the lower right corner of the front of your card base, leaving a very small edge.  Take your triangle piece and put adhesive on the back, then adhere to the front of your card base off-center with about ½” hanging off the bottom and close to the label and the point about ½” from the right edge, trim the excess.

Adhere your two Old Olive leaves, then two of the Shaded Spruce pine pieces and topping with a Cherry Cobbler flower.  Use one of the large Shaded Spruce snowflake embellishments from the Faceted Snowflakes for the center of your flower and three (mixed sizes) of the Cherry Cobbler snowflakes randomly on the Secret Sea.

For the inside of your card stamp in Secret Sea ink the “It’s the most magical time of the year” greeting in the upper portion of the Old Olive piece you cut for the inside.  Adhere to the inside of your card.  Decorate the lower left corner with pieces of the other two pine sprigs and top with the flower and put another large Shaded Spruce snowflake embellishment as the flower center.

This is such a pretty holiday card, and is great for anyone as it isn’t Christmas specific.

Beautiful Gallery Marina Accordion Fold Card

This is a great masculine card for any male in your life and is so lovely.  It is fairly quick and easy since the paper does the work, just takes a little time cutting the paper to line up.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Secret Sea card stock (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Basic Beige card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Beautiful Garden designer series paper (2025 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Label die
  • Happiest of Birthdays stamp set (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Secret Sea ink (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Scoring board or scoring blade for trimmer
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

Take your Secret Sea card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 11” and score at 3 ¼”, 5 1/8”, 8” and 9 ½”.  From the 3 ¼” first score, fold the next section in and then accordion fold from there with the last piece forming your card front.

From the Beautiful Gallery designer series paper find the piece of brown paint and then two of the marina painting.  From the brown paint piece cut a piece to 1 3/8” x 5 3/8” and a second to 1 ¾” x 5 3/8”.  Adhere the 1 3/8” wide piece to the second panel and the 1 ¾” piece to the 4th panel.

Cutting the marina papers is where it takes a bit of paying attention to get it to all line up to form the same picture when the card is closed.  Trim both pieces of the Marina paper together to 5 3/8” in height so that the picture is the same exact height for both.  Start by cutting the piece for the back, I cut a bit off the right side so it had the single boat starting at the right which then when folded will have all the boats showing, cut to 3 1/8” x 5 3/8”.  Adhere to the back portion of your card.  Fold in the middle and take the second piece of marina paper and see where the boats align to the right and trim to there.  Then cut in from the right to 2 ¾” x 5 3/8”.  Now fold in the front panel and take the leftover piece from the first piece of marina paper and again figure out where the boats need to align and trim the right and then cut to 1 3/8” 5 3/8”.  Andere to the front which gives you your picture when folded and a nice scenic view when open.

From the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set find the “it’s your day enjoy it!” greeting and stamp onto some Basic Beige in Secret Sea ink.  Take your label die and cut out your greeting.  Adhere only a bit of the label to the front panel making your label centered when your card is closed.

Cut a piece of Basic Beige to 3” x 5 ¼” for the back of your card.  Take the “wishing you the happiest of birthdays” greeting stamp and your Secret Sea ink and stamp in the upper center.  Adhere your piece of Basic Beige to the back of the back panel of your card.

There is a great guy birthday card for when you need it.

The Wilderness Awaits Fox Birthday Card

This is a great birthday card for the men in your life.  Masculine cards for some reason are much harder to create over floral or femine cards, but I am going to make myself do more of them.  This card uses Timeless Plaid paper and the The Wilderness Awaits stamp set from Stampin’ Up.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Basic Beige card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Cajan Craze card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Timeless Plaid 6” x 6” designer series paper (Stampin’ Up)
  • The Wilderness Awaits stamp set (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • By the Dock stamp set (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Border die
  • Two label dies (small and medium)
  • Cajan Craze ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Blender Pens (Stampin’ Up)
  • Cajan Craze (light)
  • Wild Wheat (light)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

To start take a piece of Basic Beige card stock and cut to 4 ¼” x 11” and fold in half to form a 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  Cut a second piece to 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”” for the inside.  From your Cajan Craze cut a piece to 4 1/8” x 5 ¼” and a second for the inside to 4” x 5 ¼”.  From the Timeless Plaid designer series paper pack find the piece that goes with the Cajan Craze and cut a piece to 4” x 5” and cut a second piece to 1” x 3 7/8”.

Take the Cajan Craze piece cut to 4 1/8” x 5 ¼” and the Basic Beige piece that is 4” x 5” and stack them together and alight evenly at the bottom edge.  Take your border die of choice and angle across both pieces toward the bottom to your liking and cut, forming the angled front pieces.

Take a spare piece of Basic Beige and the Jet Black Momento ink and stamp the fox from The Wilderness Awaits stamp set.  Use your Cajan Craze Light Blender Pen to color the fox leaving a bit uncolored around the eyes and nose.  With the Wild Wheat Light Blender Pen color the grass.  Then use your medium size die to cut out the fox.  Take a small whole punch and cut two holes on each side about ½” apart.  Cut two pieces of the twine and string through the wholes on each side.  Adhere the plaid paper to the center of the Cajan Craze piece.  Add pop dots to the back of the fox piece and adhere toward the top and centered and wrap the twine around the edges.  Then adhere to the front top portion of your Basic Beige card base.

On a spare piece of Basic Beige take the “Happy Birthday” greeting from the By The Dock stamp sent and stamp with Cajan Craze ink.  Then use the small die to cut out and use pop dots to adhere to the lower Basic Beige portion of your card.

For the inside of your card take the Basic Beige piece and adhere to the piece of Cajan Craze and then adhere the plaid strip across the bottom.  Use your Cajan Craze ink and a birthday greeting and stamp, I use a “Wishing you the very best of birthdays” stamp.  Adhere to the inside of the card.

This is a great card for any males in your life with a birthday coming up.
