Natures Symphony To a Great Buy Birthday Card

This masculine birthday card made from Nature’s Symphony stamps and dies from Stampin’ Up and the Delicate Dreams designer series paper.  I also used the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder to give the background great depth.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Mossy Meadow card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Crumb Cake White Core card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Copper Clay card stock (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Delicate Dreams designer series paper (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Nature’s Symphony stamp set and dies (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Birthday Greetings stamp set (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Copper Clay ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Natural Matte Dots (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Sanding block
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

From the Mossy Meadow card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half.  From the Crumb Cake white core card stock cut two pieces to 4” x 5 ¼” and another to 5/8” x 2”.  From Copper Clay use the wood die from Nature’s Symphony to cut out.  From a piece of the varied Mossy Meadow designers series paper from the Delicate Dreams pack cut leaves using the large leaf die and one of the small leaves.

Take one of the Crumb Cake white core pieces you cut and using the light side emboss with the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder and use your sanding block to expose some of the white and make your brinks stand out.  Adhere to the front of your Mossy Meadow card base.

Adhere the large leaf pieces toward the upper section of your card front.  Adhere the wood piece you cut out to the bottom of the leaf piece.  Take the label piece of the Crumb Cake white core paper you cut and with Copper Clay ink stamp the “to a great guy” greeting.  Use the sanding block to expose some white on your label, then adhere to the top your wood piece.  Adhere three of the Mossy Meadow Natural Matte Dots in the smaller size around the front of your card.

For the inside, adhere the other piece of Crumb Cake white core card stock to the inside back panel.  Use your sanding block to expose some of the white.  Adhere the small leave in the lower left corner and in Copper Clay ink stamp the “happy birthday” greeting from the Birthday Greeting stamp set.

What a nice masculine card for any guy you knows birthday.

Waterside Retreat Happy Fathers Day Card

This was an easy card with the Waterside Retreat designer series paper from Stampin’ Up and the sheet of cut-outs.  This used the center cut-out cut down slightly with a few additions.  What a beautiful Father’s Day card, my dad will love it.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Peaceful Pine card stock (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Waterside Retreat designer series paper (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Relaxing Waterside stamp set and dies (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Peaceful Pine or Soft Succulent (retired) ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Pecan Pie or Baked Brown Sugar (retired) ink ( Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer)
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From a piece of Peaceful Pine card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 1/2”.  With some white card stock cut a piece to 4” x 5 ¼” and adhere to the inside back of your card base.  Take your Waterside Retreat designer series paper pack and find the sheet that has all the cut-outs and cut out the center one, then cut it down slightly to measure 4” x 5 ¼”.  Adhere to the front of your card

Now from the Waterside Retreat designer series paper find the paper that has the life jackets and oars and cut out one single oar and one of the smaller life jackets, I did the green one but the pink striped one would look nice as well.  Use pop dots to adhere the oar to the lower portion of your card on the dock so it looks like you are getting ready to go out in the boat (it looked best with the handle off the paper so I trimmed it off), then adhere the life jacket over that with pop dots, making sure you place your pop-dots so you don’t hit the oar.

Take a scrap piece of white card stock and your Pecan Pie ink (I used Baked Brown Sugar as I don’t have Pecan Pie) and the wood grain looking stamp from Nature’s Symphany stamp set, stamp off and then stamp onto your white card stock.  Then take the “Dad” and “today is your day” greeting stamps from Relaxing Retreat and stack together on a block, then stamp over the wood grain.  Cut out into a rectangle shape as desired.  Stamp the flying seagull from Relaxing Retreat and stamp on a scrap piece of white card stock in Peaceful Pine (or Soft Succulent because I couldn’t get the Peaceful Fine ink yet) ink and use the die to cut it out.  Adhere the seagull to the upper right corner of your label.  Then adhere your label with pop dots to the upper right corner of your card front.

For the inside use the wood grain stamp again with your Pecan Pie ink and stamp off and then stamp in the upper center of your white inside piece.  Then with Pecan Pie ink stamp the “Happy Father’s Day” greeting over the wood grain.  Use Peaceful Pine ink and larger grass stamp and stamp in the lower left corner.

What a beautiful card for any occasion, but this one was made specifically for my dad on Father’s Day, hope he doesn’t look at my site before Father’s Day.
