Notes of Spring Notes of Thanks Card

Such a cute deer in this Notes of Spring stamp set from Stampin’ Up and adding the little dragonfly from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set was the touch it needed.  The Wood Grain Wonders designer series paper made the perfect background.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Pecan Pie card stock (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Wood Grain Wonders designer series paper (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Notes of Spring stamp set (March 2026 Product of the Month Stampin’ Up)
  • Scalloped Wishes stamps and dies (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Pecan Pie or Baked Brown Sugar ink (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Pear Pizzazz (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From your white card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half.  Cut a piece to 2 ½” x 2 7/8” to stamp on and one to ¾” x 2” for your label.  From Peacan Pie card stock cut a piece to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  With your Wood Crain Wonders designer series paper pack, find the piece in Pecan Pie color and cut a piece to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”.  Align one edge with both pieces and tear together to make a matching tear, repeat on each side giving you’re a small layer of the Pecan Pie layer.

With the white piece measuring 2 ½” x 2 7/8” and stamp the large ground piece and then the small one next to it in Pecan Pie ink (or Baked Brown Sugar ink as I didn’t have Pecan Pie) to form the ground.  Stamp the large grass piece on the large ground piece and the small grass on the small ground.  Take the small dragonfly from the Scalloped Wishes and stamp one in the upper right corner above the small grass.

On a scrap piece of white card stock stamp the deer outline in Pecan Pie ink and then with the fill-in stamp ink with your Pecan Pie ink and stamp off once and then stamp inside your deer outline.  Use a pair of scissors to cut out your deer.  On a small scrap of white stamp the small dragonfly in Pecan Pie ink and use the die to cut out.  Use the Pear Pizzazz ink to stamp the “A little note of thanks”greeting on your white label.  Adhere your dragonfly cutout to the upper left corner of your label with a half of a pop dot.

Adhere your two torn pieces together and then to the front of your card base.  Adhere your stamped white piece to the upper portion of the Wood Grain paper on the front of your card.  Use pop dots to adhere the deer over the ground stamps with the grasses showing.  Adhere the label to the lower right side.

For the inside I didn’t put a greeting as I was just leaving it as a note, but I did stamp another of the small dragonfly in the upper left corner and a deer in the lower left corner using the same technique of stamping the outline and stamping off the fill-in.

That little deer is so cute and made a pretty thank you card for anyone.

True Blue Floral Delicate Whispers Birthday Card

This pretty birthday card is made with the True Blue Florals designer series paper and the Delicate Whispers stamp set both from Stampin’ Up.  Using arches dies to form the stamped section of the card front.  The floral stamp from Delicate Whispers matches this paper perfectly, they just seemed made to go together.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Secret Sea card stock (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Balmy Blue card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • True Blue Floral designer series paper (December 2025 Product of the Month Stampin’ Up)
  • Delicate Whispers stamp set and dies (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Notes of Spring stamp set (March 2026 Product of the Month Stampin’ Up)
  • Arch dies (Senhai)
  • Secret Sea ink (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

From a piece of Secret Sea card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  With a piece of Balmy Blue card stock cut two pieces to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”. Cut a piece of white card stock to 4” x 5 ¼”. Take you True Blue Floral designer series paper and find the piece with the floral springs and cut a piece to 4” x 5 ¼”.  Use your arches dies to cut the labels, with the large one measuring a width of 3 ¼” to cut out of Secret Sea, the 3” wide one to cut a piece of Balmy Blue and the 2 ¾” die to cut a piece of white card stock.

With the Delicate Whispers stamp set find the floral sprig that goes to the right and stamp to the left edge of you white card stock arch in Secret Sea ink.  Then from the Notes of Spring use the “happiest birthday wishes” stamp to stamp in Secret Sea ink in the white space to the right of the floral sprig.  Also stamp three of the small flower from Delicate Whispers in Secret Sea ink around the leftover white space.

With your Light Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends pen color the flowers and with the Light Secret Sea Stampin’ Blends color in the leaves of the floral sprig.  Adhere your three layers of arches together then cut off the end where desired.  Adhere one of the Balmy Blue pieces to the front of your card base and the floral piece to that.  Then adhere your arches label to the right side lined up along the edge of the floral paper.

For the inside of your card take the white piece of card stock you cut and stamp the “especially for you” greeting from Notes of Spring in Secret Sea ink.  Then stamp three of the small flowers from Delicate Whispers around.  Use the Light Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends to color in the three flowers.

This is a really cut birthday card for a friend or family member.
