Delicate Dreams Scalloped Wishes Thanks Card

I had some triangle pieces left from a different card I made so I came up with this design so that I could use them on this gate fold that opens in the middle.  It uses the blue floral paper from the Delicate Dreams designer series paper from Stampin’ Up and the Scalloped Wishes dies and stamps.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Hydrangea Hue card stock (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Pear Pizzaz card stock (retired Stamp’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Delicate Dreams designer series paper (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Scalloped Wishes stamp set and dies (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Hydrangea Hue ink (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Bordered Ribbon Hydrangea Hue (2026-2028 In Color Stampin Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

To cut your card base take a piece of white card stock and cut to 4 ¼” x 11” and score at 2 ¾” and 8 ¼”.  Cut another white piece to 3 ¾” x 5” for the inside of your card.  From the Hydrangea Hue card stock cut a piece to 2 7/8” x 2 7/8” and cut on the diagonal into to halves.  In your Delicate Dreams designer series paper pack find the blue and white floral piece and cut two pieces to 2 5/8” x 4 1/8” and a piece to 2 ¾” x 2 ¾” which you cut in half on the diagonal as well.

From the Scalloped Wishes dies take a scrap piece of white card stock and cut the large plain label and dragonfly wings.  With some scrap Hydranea Hue card stock cut the larger scalloped designed label and four flowers (two sets of two), along with a dragonfly body.   Take a scrap of Pear Pizzaz card stock and cut out two of the longer leaf sprigs.

Now we can assemble, starting with taking your white card base and folding each side in to meet at the center.  Take the two rectangle floral pieces and adhere one to each side of the front of your card.  Take your floral triangles and adhere to the Hydrangea Hue triangles and adhere one of each to the outside edge of your floral pieces.

With the Hydrangea Hue label, adhere it to the larger white label.  Then adhere one of your leaf springs to the left side along with two of the flowers.  Grab your Hydrangea Hue ink and the “with sincere thanks” greeting from Scalloped Wishes and stamp to the right side.  With your Bordered Ribbon cut a piece and tie a bow and adhere to the upper right side of your label.  Adhere the left side of your label to the left side centered in your card front.  Adhere the dragonfly body to the front of wings and adhere the dragonfly to the upper right of your card, making sure it doesn’t interfere with your card label when opening the card.

For the inside of your card take the 4” x 5 ¼” Hydrangea Hue paper and adhere the 3 ¾” x 5” white piece to it and adhere to the inside of your card.  Adhere the leaf spring and two remaining flowers in the lower left corner of the inside.

What a lovely thank you card for a girlfriend or work mate who does something you should say thanks for.

Notes of Spring Notes of Thanks Card

Such a cute deer in this Notes of Spring stamp set from Stampin’ Up and adding the little dragonfly from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set was the touch it needed.  The Wood Grain Wonders designer series paper made the perfect background.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Pecan Pie card stock (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Wood Grain Wonders designer series paper (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Notes of Spring stamp set (March 2026 Product of the Month Stampin’ Up)
  • Scalloped Wishes stamps and dies (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Pecan Pie or Baked Brown Sugar ink (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Pear Pizzazz (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From your white card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half.  Cut a piece to 2 ½” x 2 7/8” to stamp on and one to ¾” x 2” for your label.  From Peacan Pie card stock cut a piece to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  With your Wood Crain Wonders designer series paper pack, find the piece in Pecan Pie color and cut a piece to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”.  Align one edge with both pieces and tear together to make a matching tear, repeat on each side giving you’re a small layer of the Pecan Pie layer.

With the white piece measuring 2 ½” x 2 7/8” and stamp the large ground piece and then the small one next to it in Pecan Pie ink (or Baked Brown Sugar ink as I didn’t have Pecan Pie) to form the ground.  Stamp the large grass piece on the large ground piece and the small grass on the small ground.  Take the small dragonfly from the Scalloped Wishes and stamp one in the upper right corner above the small grass.

On a scrap piece of white card stock stamp the deer outline in Pecan Pie ink and then with the fill-in stamp ink with your Pecan Pie ink and stamp off once and then stamp inside your deer outline.  Use a pair of scissors to cut out your deer.  On a small scrap of white stamp the small dragonfly in Pecan Pie ink and use the die to cut out.  Use the Pear Pizzazz ink to stamp the “A little note of thanks”greeting on your white label.  Adhere your dragonfly cutout to the upper left corner of your label with a half of a pop dot.

Adhere your two torn pieces together and then to the front of your card base.  Adhere your stamped white piece to the upper portion of the Wood Grain paper on the front of your card.  Use pop dots to adhere the deer over the ground stamps with the grasses showing.  Adhere the label to the lower right side.

For the inside I didn’t put a greeting as I was just leaving it as a note, but I did stamp another of the small dragonfly in the upper left corner and a deer in the lower left corner using the same technique of stamping the outline and stamping off the fill-in.

That little deer is so cute and made a pretty thank you card for anyone.

Wood Grain Wonders Scalloped Wishes Card

The cat tails in the new Scalloped Wishes stamp set is a must have for masculine or outdoor cards, not to mention the adorable little dragonfly.  The new Wood Grain Wonders paper from Stampin’ Up is the perfect match to go with it.  This is a quick and easy card for any occasion.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Basic Beige card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Wood Grain Wonders designer series paper (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Scalloped Wishes stamp set and dies (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Early Expresso ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Mossy Meadow ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Early Expresso Stampin’ Write Marker (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Bakers Twine (Stampin’ Up)
  • Antiquing Tools – Rough Edge Blade (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Sponge piece (Retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From your Basic Beige card stock cut a base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. With the Wood Grain Wonders designer series paper find one of the Early Expresso dark colored pieces and cut it to 4” x 5 ¼”.

Take your antiquing tools, take the gray one and scrape across all four edges of your wood grain piece to rough them.  Then take a piece of a sponge and your Early Expresso ink and sponge ink over the edges of your wood grain piece and also the front of your card base.

From the Scalloped Wishes dies, find the smaller of the two scalloped dies and use that to cut out of the upper portion of the wood grain paper.  Then with your Bakers Twine, cut four pieces to about 6” each and tie the together with a knot in the middle.  Adhere your knot to the center of the lower portion of your card and divide one set of four into two that you pull up and two you pull down and adhere them on the back, repeat for the other side.  Align this on the front of your card (not adhering) and use Early Expresso ink to stamp your greeting in the window so you know it lines up properly, I used the “so very happy for you” greeting from the Scalloped Wishes.

Grab a scrap piece of Basic Beige card stock and your Mossy Meadow ink and stamp the small dragonfly and cut out with the die.  Then ink the cat tails in the Mossy Meadow ink and use your Early Expresso Stampin’ Write marker to color the three cat tail tops and then stamp on Basic Beige and cut out with the die.  Adhere to cat tails to the left side of the scallop cut out on your wood grain paper, and the dragonfly in the upper right corner above your scallop cut out.  Use pop dots to adhere this to the front of your card base.

For the inside stamp the dragonfly in Mossy Meadow ink in the upper right corner and the cat tails (repeating the coloring process) in the lower left corner.

What and easy card for any occasion for those men in your life.
