Painterly Pears Darling Duckling Thinking of You Card

This Darling Duckling colored Painterly Pear designer series paper made a really cute Thinking of You card with this suite from Stampin’ Up. 

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Darling Duckling card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Mossy Meadow card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Painterly Pears designer series paper (July 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Soft Seedlings stamp set (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Gather Together stamp set (September 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Traditional Label Dies (August 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin Up)
  • Mossy Meadow ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Mossy Meadow and Gold Trim Ribbon (July 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

With a piece of Darling Duckling card stock cut a piece to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½” for your card base.  Cut a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock t 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”.  From white card stock cut a piece to 3 ¾” x 5” for the inside of your card.  With the Painterly Pears designer series paper find the Darling Duckling pear paper and cut a piece to 4” x 5 ¼”.  Also from this paper find one of the pears with a cut pear and cut it out for the inside of your card. 

Take your piece of Darling Duckling pear paper and adhere it to the Mossy Meadow paper.  Take a piece of Mossy Meadow and Gold Trim ribbon cut to 4 ¾” or so and wrap around your paper about 2 ¼” down from the top and adhere to the back.  The adhere this to the front of your card base. 

From a piece of white card stock stamp your “Thinking of You” greeting from the Soft Seedlings stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink and use a label die from the Traditional Label Dies to cut it.  From Darling Duckling card stock cut out another label the next size up and adhere to white label to it, and then adhere with pop dots centered over your ribbon on the front of your card. 

For the inside of your card adhere your piece of white card stock.  The from the Gather Together stamp set find the “So glad to have you in my life” greeting and stamp in Mossy Meadow ink at the center top of the inside of your card.  Then adhere the little pears you cut out to the lower left corner. 

This Thinking of You card is so simple and pretty and great to give to a friend or family member to let them know you are happy to have them in your life.

Painterly Pears Green Themed Friend Card

This layered card turned out so cute, I still am in love with this Painterly Pears designer series paper and the Perfectly Pears stamp and dies set from Stampin’ Up. 

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Old Olive card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Painterly Pears designer series paper (July 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Perfectly Pears stamp set and dies (July 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Traditional Label Dies (August 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Corner rounder punch
  • Paper trimmer
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

With a piece of Old Olive card stock cut your card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  Cut another piece to 2 ¼” x 4 5/8”.  From a piece of white card stock cut a piece for the inside of your card to 4” x 5 ¼”.  From the Painterly Pears designer series paper find the Old Olive Leaf piece and cut to 4” x 5 ¼”.  From the white paper with pear edges cut one of the edge pieces to 2” x 4 3/8”.  Use your corner rounder punch to round the four corners of each piece you just cut, including your card base. 

From some of the spare pear paper cut out one of the single reddish pears and one of the green double pears with a pair of scissors.  From a spare piece of white card stock stamp “A good friend is a gift” from the Perfectly Pears stamp set and stamp in Old Olive ink  Use the smaller decorative oval from Traditional Label dies to cut out the stamped white piece and the larger oval to cut out a piece of Old Olive card stock and also one of the branches with leaves dies.   

Adhere your green leaf designer series paper piece to the front of your card base.  Then adhere your white pear designer series paper piece to the Old Olive piece and adhere to the front of your card about ½” down from the top and about ¾” in from the left.  Then adhere your white oval label to the green one.  Tear up the sections of the leaves you cut and adhere around the back of your label for decoration, leaving one section to adhere to the lower right corner of your label.  Adhere your reddish pear you cut out with those last leaves in the lower right corner of the label.  Now adhere your label slightly below the middle on the right side of the front of your card. 

On the inside of your card adhere your white piece of card stock to the inside and adhere the double green pears you cut out to the lower left corner of the white piece.  Use the “So grateful” greeting from the Soft Seedlings stamp set and stamp on the upper center of the inside of your card in Old Olive ink.

I think this card is just so lovely, anyone would be so thrilled to receive it in the mail letting them know you are grateful for their friendship.

Soft Seedlings Thinking of You Card

I have had this Soft Seedlings stamp set from Stampin’ Up for over a year and haven’t used it until today for anything more than the greetings.  It was a fun set as I inked it and then sprayed it with water to give a great effect. 

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • More Mustard card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Basic Beige card stock
  • Soft Seedlings stamp set (Stampin’ Up)
  • More Mustard ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Spray bottle with water
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

From the More Mustard card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½” and a stripe to 1 ¼” x 5 ½”.  From the Basic Beige cut two pieces to 4” x 5 ½” and a strip to 1” x 4 ½”. 

Take one of the 4” x 5 ¼” of Basic Beige and with the large leaf stamp and your More Mustard ink and ink the stamp, then stray with some water and stamp in one corner just slightly off of each edge.  Do the same in the opposite corner.  In the other two corners do the same but just stamp part of the large leaf, not the stem or helicopters.  Adhere to the front of your card base.

With the strip of Basic Beige stamp the “Thinking of You” greeting in More Mustard ink and then stamp part of the helicopter stamp on each end.  Adhere to the More Mustard strip and the adhere to the front of your card on an angle and trip the ends to match the angle of your card. 

Take the other piece of Basic Beige and adhere to the inside of your card.  Use the “So grateful” greeting stamp and stamp with More Mustard ink to the upper center of the inside of your card.  Then with More Mustard ink stamp a helicopter in the lower left corner. 

Let anyone you are thinking of them and are grateful for them with this fall card.

Gathering Together Thinking of You Leaf Stepper Card

Fall is on its way so it is time for some fall cards.  This leaf stepper card fit right in using the Grateful Together designer series paper from Stampin’ Up and the Vintage Leaves stamps and dies. 

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Basic Beige card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Cinnamon Cider card stock (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Hello Honey card stock (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Wild Wasabi card stock (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Grateful Together designer series paper (September 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Vintage Leave stamp set and dies (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Soft Seedlings stamp set (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Traditional Label Dies (Stampin’ Up)
  • Cajan Craze ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Scoring board or trimmer scoring blade
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

For the card base use your Basic Beige card stock and cut to 5 ½” x 11” and score at 2” x 4” x 7 ½” and fold all up.  Cut another piece to 3” x 5”.  From the Grateful Together designer series paper pack and find the Cajan Craze piece with the small leaf background and cut a piece to 1 ¾” x 5 ¼” and cut two pieces to 3 ¼” x 5 ¼”.  Adhere the small piece to the small front section of the card base, one of the larger pieces to the front of the back section and the other to the inside of your card.  Adhere your 3” x 5” Basic Beige piece to the inside on the Cajan Craze leaf piece. 

With the Vintage Leaves stamp set stamp three of the oak leaves on the Cinnamon Cider paper and cut out with the die.  From the Hello Hone stamp two of the maple leaves and cut out with the die and then two of the medium leaves and cut out with the dies..  Then with the Wild Wasabi stamp three of the smaller beech leaves and cut out with the die.  From a scrap piece of Basic Beige cut out a label with one of the Traditional Label Dies. 

Grab your Cajan Craze ink and the “Thinking of You” greeting from Soft Seedlings stamp set and stamp on your label.  Use the “so grateful” stamp and stamp on the inside Basic Beige piece you put on the inside of your card. 

Take one of your large maple leaves and adhere to the left side of the front step and one of the small green leaves to the right.  Use pop dots to adhere your label over the top of the leaves.  For the back portion of the card, adhere two of the Cinnamon Cider oak leaves to the back, making sure they don’t exceed the 4 ¼” height to fit into an envelope.  Then adhere the rest of the leaves around to your liking.
