Brushed With Beauty Just Because Card

A vertical take on a book binding card.  This floral card is made with Brushed With Beauty designer series paper from Stampin’ Up and using the Petals of Beauty and Words of Beauty coordinating stamp sets and dies.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Crumb Cake card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Mossy Meadow card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Brushed With Beauty designer series paper (November 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Petals of Beauty stamp set and dies (November 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Words of Beauty stamp set (November 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Nested Die 138281 (Sizzix)
  • Calypso Coral ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Petal Pink ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Pink Pirouette (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From a piece of Crumb Cake card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and score at 2 ¾” and 4 ¼”.  Fold in half and then fold the 2 ¾” flap up.  With your white card stock cut a piece to 2 ½” x 5 ¼” for the inside.  Take the Brushed With Beauty designer series paper pack and find the one with the smaller floral print, cut a piece to 2 ½” x 5 ¼”.

With some white card stock and the Petals of Beauty stamps and dies stamp and die cut the flowers.  I made three different flowers to help match the paper’s flowers:

  • Stamp the base in Pink Pirouette and then the outline in Petal Pink
  • Stamp the base in Pink Pirouette and then the outline stamped off in Petal Pink
  • Stamp the base in Petal Pink and then the outline stamped off in Calypso Coral

Use the larger size of the yellow 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds for the centers of the flowers.  With some scrap Mossy Meadow card stock use the leaf die from Petals of Beauty to cut one out and cut it into single leaves to use.

With your card base, adhere the 1 ½” section to the back of the inside of your card to form the Book Binding.  Adhere to floral piece to the front right side of the card.  Adhere the three flowers evenly to the left side on the book binding with the leaves behind to your liking.  Take three of the pink 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds to the blank spaces around the flowers.  On a scrap piece of white card stock stamp the “just”, “because” and “…” in Calypso Coral and use a label die to cut it out, I use a nested Sizzix die that was about 1 ½” high but any shape will work.

For the inside of the card adhere you white piece and stamp the “you’ve been on my mind” stamp in Calypso Coral ink.

A pretty card to brighten someone’s day and let them know you are thinking of them.

Notes of Spring Notes of Thanks Card

Such a cute deer in this Notes of Spring stamp set from Stampin’ Up and adding the little dragonfly from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set was the touch it needed.  The Wood Grain Wonders designer series paper made the perfect background.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Pecan Pie card stock (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Wood Grain Wonders designer series paper (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Notes of Spring stamp set (March 2026 Product of the Month Stampin’ Up)
  • Scalloped Wishes stamps and dies (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Pecan Pie or Baked Brown Sugar ink (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Pear Pizzazz (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From your white card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half.  Cut a piece to 2 ½” x 2 7/8” to stamp on and one to ¾” x 2” for your label.  From Peacan Pie card stock cut a piece to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  With your Wood Crain Wonders designer series paper pack, find the piece in Pecan Pie color and cut a piece to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”.  Align one edge with both pieces and tear together to make a matching tear, repeat on each side giving you’re a small layer of the Pecan Pie layer.

With the white piece measuring 2 ½” x 2 7/8” and stamp the large ground piece and then the small one next to it in Pecan Pie ink (or Baked Brown Sugar ink as I didn’t have Pecan Pie) to form the ground.  Stamp the large grass piece on the large ground piece and the small grass on the small ground.  Take the small dragonfly from the Scalloped Wishes and stamp one in the upper right corner above the small grass.

On a scrap piece of white card stock stamp the deer outline in Pecan Pie ink and then with the fill-in stamp ink with your Pecan Pie ink and stamp off once and then stamp inside your deer outline.  Use a pair of scissors to cut out your deer.  On a small scrap of white stamp the small dragonfly in Pecan Pie ink and use the die to cut out.  Use the Pear Pizzazz ink to stamp the “A little note of thanks”greeting on your white label.  Adhere your dragonfly cutout to the upper left corner of your label with a half of a pop dot.

Adhere your two torn pieces together and then to the front of your card base.  Adhere your stamped white piece to the upper portion of the Wood Grain paper on the front of your card.  Use pop dots to adhere the deer over the ground stamps with the grasses showing.  Adhere the label to the lower right side.

For the inside I didn’t put a greeting as I was just leaving it as a note, but I did stamp another of the small dragonfly in the upper left corner and a deer in the lower left corner using the same technique of stamping the outline and stamping off the fill-in.

That little deer is so cute and made a pretty thank you card for anyone.

Stargazing UFO Out of This World Card

I received the Spellbinders 2025 Advent as a gift and one of the dies and stamp sets was all related to UFOs.  There is a die set for the UFOs and a stamp set with a few sayings to coordinate.  I used In The Pines stamps and dies from Stampin’ Up for the trees on the inside of the card and their Stargazing designer series paper which matched perfect for the front of the card.

  • Gold glitter card stock (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Stargazing designer series paper (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Out of this World word stamps (Advent 2025 Spellbinders)
  • In The Pines stamps and dies (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • UFO dies S2-428 W20 (Advent 2025 Spellbinders)
  • Tempting Turquise ink (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Soft Suede ink (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Mossy Meadow in (Stampin’ Up)
  • Wink of Stella glitter pen (Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

With the light blue card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half and another piece to 3 ¾” x 5” for the inside and a label to ¾” x 2”.  From Misty Moonlight card stock cut a piece to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and another for the inside to 4” x 5 ¼”.  From the Stargazing designer series paper pack find the piece with the blue galaxy with the stary background and cut a piece to 4” x 5 ¼” that has the galaxy running through the middle with stars showing around it.

From a scrap piece of the light blue paper cut two of the round pieces with the window holes and two of the saucer pieces.  Cut the bottom portion of the round pieces.  From the silver glitter paper cut two of the background pieces.  From the gold glitter paper die cut one of the beams pieces and break into three.  Use a sponge and sponge the edges of your round pieces and your saucer pieces and then cover each piece in Wink of Stella for a shine.  Adhere the silver glitter pieces to the back of the circle and the saucer pieces to the top bottom of your ships.  Adhere your three gold glitter pieces beaming out of the bottom of one of your ships to use on the inside of your card.

Take the label piece you cut from light blue and stamp the “you are out of this world” greeting in Tempting Turquoise ink.  Use a sponge to sponge the edges with Tempting Turquoise ink and then cover the whole label with Wink of Stella to give it a shine.

Now adhere the 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” Misty Moonlight card stock to the front of your card and the Stargazing paper to the front of that.  Then use pop dots to adhere your no-beam space ship to the upper right corner of your card.  Adhere your label to the lower left corner with pop dots as well.

For the inside of your card adhere your light blue piece to your Misty Moonlight piece.  Use your Tempting Turquoise in and stamp the “rolling by to say hi” greeting in the upper center of your light blue piece.  With your In The Pines stamp set stamp two of the small single trees and one of the four grouped small trees in Soft Suede ink and then the fill in pieces with Mossy Meadow ink then die cut each of them.  Adhere the two single trees in the lower left corner and your grouped trees in the lower right corner.  Then adhere your space ship with the beams going slightly under your trees.  Then adhere your piece to the inside back of your card.

This card turned out so cute, took me a bit of time to get it finished but turned out better than I expected.
