Floral Pop-Up Gate Fold Card

This pop-up gate fold card made with the Velvet Meadow designer series paper from Stampin’ Up is just adorable and such a surprise when you open the card. The addition of a bit of the Velveteen Assortment flocked pink paper adds a wonderful touch. Then I used the Flowering Meadow stamps and dies to complete it all.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Cloud Cover card stock (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
White card stock
Velveteen Assortment specialty paper (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)

There is a bunch of cutting to start and then it all just goes together quick. Start with a piece of Cloud Cover card stock for your card base by cutting to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and score at 2 1/8” and 6 3/8” and fold each outside piece in. Now with your paper trimmer cut 1” down from the top on your center panel, and then 1” up from the bottom. Then score each of your 1” sections of the center at 4 1/4″ from the left end. The score the middle center panel at 3 1/8” and 5 3/8” in from the left side.

Now from white card stock cut:

Four panels to 2” x 5 3/8”
Four panels to 7/8” x 2”
One to 2 1/8” x 3 3/8”
Two panels to 7/8” x 3 3/8”

Floral paper from the Velvet Meadow designer series paper:

Four panels to 1 7/8” x 5 ¼”

From the Pink flocked paper from the Velveteen Assortment Specialty designer series paper pack cut:

Four panels to ¾” x 1 7/8”

From the Cloud Cover checked designer series paper from the Velvet Meadow pack cut:

Two panels to ¾” x 3 ½”

Now it is time to assemble, starting with the four white panels measuring 2” x 5 3/8” and the four floral panel, and here one of each together. With your card base open adhere one panel to the left side and one panel to the right side. Now fold your card closed. With the Cloud Cover Linen ribbon cut two pieces about 9” long and adhere one to the back left side of one of the panels and then adhere to the front left panel, and the do the same for the right side.

Now take the four white panels measuring 7/8” x 2” and the four pink panels and adhere together and then adhere one of each to each side of your top and bottom section of the center. Now adhere the two 7/8” x 3 5/8” white panels and the two Cloud Cover checked panels together and adhere to each side of the middle center panel. Then adhere the larger white piece left to the middle center panel.

From the Flowering Meadows stamp set stamp one of the sprigs in cloud cover ink on a scrap piece of white. Also stamp the “Thanks” greeting in Cloud Cover Ink and cut out as a label and do the same with the “for showing you care” greeting.

Cut out the sprig with the appropriate die and adhere to the lower left corner of the middle center panel. Now take the “for showing you care” label you cut and adhere to a Cloud Cover scrap and cut out the label with about a 1/8” edge. Adhere this label over the sprig across the bottom of your middle center panel.

Now take the “thanks” greeting and adhere to a scrap piece of Cloud Cover card stock and trim around your label with a 1/8” boarder. Adhere your label to the lower left corner on an angle. Tie a bow to hold your card closed.

What a lovely way to say thanks to someone you care about.

Fern & Flora Diamond Stepper Card

I have had this Diamond Stepper card written down as a planned outline for a while but finally decided this was the paper I wanted to use for this design because I could use the fern die cuts as some perfect accents. This design uses the Moonlit Flora designer series paper and the Fern & Flora stamp set from Stampin’ Up to show off this card.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Secret Sea card stock (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
Mossy Meadow card stock (Stampin’ Up)
Old Olive card stock (Stampin’ Up)
White card stock
Moonlit Flora designer series paper (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)

With a piece of Secret Sea card stock cut your card base to 4 ¼” x 10 ½” and score at 1 ¼”, 2 ½”, 4 ¼”, 6” and 8 ¼”. Starting with the small 1 ¼” end fold down and then the next small section up and accordion fold the rest forming your steps. Also cut three pieces to 3” x 3” for your diamonds. From some white card stock cut a piece to 2 7/8” x 2 7/8” for your back greeting panel. From the Moonlit Flora designer series paper pack find the Golden Glow piece with the small dotted triangles and then find three of the fern pieces that have Secret Sea in them, I used the two different pieces that had the golden glow flowers (one with the white moths) and then the piece with the white flowers. From the Golden Glow paper cut two pieces to 1 1/8” x 4 1/8”, two to 1 5/8” x 4 1/8” and two to 2 1/8” x 4 1/8”, then adhere each piece to the appropriate panels on the step or your card base.

From the fern papers, cut one of each of the fern pieces to 2 7/8” x 2 7/8” making sure you cut them to include what you want and that they are going the right direction for the pattern. To make sure I got what I wanted in the correct direction I laid one of my 3” secret sea pieces on and drew around it with a pen and then cut it out to the 2 7/8” square so the pen marks were then cut off. Adhere each of your fern pieces to your Secret Sea pieces.

From your Mossy Meadow card stock cut one of the large leaf pieces and two of the medium fern pieces and from Old Olive cut one of the other medium fern pieces and two of the fern fronds. From the piece of fern paper the has the smaller orange flowers use the matching die to cut out one of the floral sprigs. With your golden glow ink stamp the “you’re an amazing friend” greeting on a scrap piece of white card stock and trim around to a rectangle tag.

To assemble, take your card base and your diamonds and choose which diamond you would like for the back. Put adhesive in the bottom 1” of your diamond and adhere to the 5^th panel with the 6^th panel folded down, centered and measuring to about 5 ½” in height when your base is folded up. Then adhere to middle triangle the same way centering over your back triangle about ½” lower. Do the same for your front panel about ½” lower than that. Then adhere the Mossy Meadow large leaf and the Old Olive fern piece to the left side of the back diamond, one of the two Mossy Meadow medium fern leaves and one of the Old Olive fronds to the right side of the middle diamond and the orange flower cut out to the right side of the front panel. Then adhere the greeting to the left side of the front panel.

For the back panel take the white diamond and adhere to the back of the diamond on the back of your card. Adhere the two remaining fern pieces to the bottom slightly on your white diamond with the majority on the bottom Golden Glow panel. Stamp the “thankful for you” greeting in Golden Glow ink in the upper portion of your white diamond. The bottom portion of your white diamond may need to bend out so that your card will stand properly.

I love the colors of this card and all the ferns, dark but with some bright pops, and lovely to let a friend know how much they mean to you.

Fern and Flora Better Place Card

The muted colors using the Fern & Flora 3D embossing folder for this card background turned out just like I wanted, not always the case. And then add a few die cut ferns pieces and stamped moths from the Fern & Flora stamps and dies from Stampin’ Up and what a great masculine thank you card.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Pebbled Path card stock (retired Stampin’ Up)
Basic Beige card stock (Stampin’ Up)
Fern & Flora stamp set and dies (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
Fern & Flora 3D embossing folder (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)
Pebbled Path Ink (Stampin’ Up)

With you Pebbled Path card stock cut a piece to 4 ¼” x 11” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. Take your Basic Beige card stock and cut a piece to 4 ¾” x 5 1/8”, two pieces to 4” x 5 1/4”.

Take your embossing folder and with your Pebbled Path ink pad lightly slide it down the embossed side of your embossing folder so that you are only hitting the flat surface. Then take your piece of Basic Beige measuring 4 ¾” x 5 1/8” and place it one the un-inked side of your embossing folder and close, holding in place so it doesn’t move and run it through your embossing machine. You will cut this down to 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”, reserving the remaining piece for the inside of your card.

Now with some scrap Basic Beige card stock stamp the “you make the world a better place” greeting from the Ferm & Flora stamp and die set in Pebbled Path ink and then the outside boarder in the same. Also stamp two of the larger moths and one of the smaller moths. Die cut them all out. Then also die cut out one of the large leaves. With some scrap Pebbled Path card stock die cut out one of the fern fronds and the medium fern leaf.

Now let’s assemble by taking your card base and adhering one of the Basic Beige pieces measuring 4” x 5 ¼” to the front and then your embossed fern piece to the front of that. Now arrange your three die cut fern pieces in the lower left corner with the larger Basic Beige one to the back and each of the Pebbled Path ones to each side. Using pop dots, adhere your label over the lower right side of your fern pieces and one of the large moths to the lower right of your label.

For the inside of your card, take your last Basic Beige piece measuring 4” x 5 ¼” and with your “thankful for you” greeting from the Fern & Flora stamp set, stamp in Pebbled Path ink. Take the left over embossed piece and cut down to 4” in length with the section you like the best and adhere up about 1/8” from the bottom of your Basic Beige piece. Add you two moths as desired.

I am just in love with this card and it is a great masculine thank you card.

Bikes and Blooms Thank You Card

This adorable thank you card was made with the Bikes and Blooms Paper Pumkin kit from Stampin’ Up. It is just a cheery summer card that anyone would love to receive.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Old Olive card base (June 2026 Paper Pumpkin Stampin’ Up)
Paper punch-outs (June 2026 Paper Pumpkin Stampin’ Up)
Bikes & Blooms stamp set (June 2026 Paper Pumpkin Stampin’ Up)
Crushed Curry ink (Stampin’ Up)

From your Paper Pumpkin kit find one of the Old Olive card bases. From the punch-outs get one of the half yellow bikes, one of the baskets with leaves, and one of the bushes and one of the banner tags.

Take the bushy punch-out and with your Crushed Curry ink and the four flower stamp, stamp three of the flower groupings in each of the open spaces on the bushy piece. Then take the basked punch-out and with your Calypso Coral ink and the longer floral stamp, stamp over the open space. Then take the white banner punch-out and with your Crushed Curry ink stamp the “thank you” greeting.

To assemble, take your card base and fold in half. With the bushy punch-out you stamped cut the right section off with one of the flower groupings and adhere the small section to the left side over the grass strip making it look like a bush, and adhere the larger section to the right side. Now adhere your bike using pop dots to raise up, with the tire sitting on the grass strip. Adhere your basket using pop-dots over the existing bike basket. Then adhere your thank you banner above the bike seat looking like it is coming out of the basket.

For the inside, stamp the “have a lovely day” greeting in Crushed Curry ink and then stamp some of the butterflies on each side in the Calypso Coral ink.

What a cheerful fun card to thank anyone.

Velvet Meadow Diagonal Z-Fold Card

This large bold paper from the Velvet Meadow designer series paper with the flocking is so beautiful, it can stand alone. Adding the pink velveteen paper for an accent and stamps from the Flowering Meadow stamps and dies, all from Stampin’ Up just made this card shine.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Peaceful Pine card stock (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
Barely Blush Velveteen card stock (2026 Annual Catalog Stampin’ Up)

This card is all about the cutting, after that it just goes together quickly. From a piece of Peaceful Pine card stock cut a piece to 5 ½” x 11” and from the right-side angle down to 3” and then score from the right high side at 4 ¼ and 8 ½”. Fold into you’re Z-fold with the small front piece folding to the left.

From your white card stock cut the following:

Back panel – 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and 3 ½” x 3 ¾”
Middle panel (front and back) – two pieces to 4 1/8” x 4 3/8”
Front panel – 2 3/8” x 3 3/8”

Now from the Velvet Meadow find the piece with the bright large flowers and the Peaceful Pine background and cut a strip to 5 ¼” x 12”. Then cut into three pieces measuring 4” each. And from the Barely Blush velveteen paper from the Velveteen Assortment Specialty designer series paper cut a piece to 2 ¼” x 3 ¼”.

For the back panel take the floral piece you cut from the right side and the white piece measuring 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and line up and cut the angle to match your back panel. There are many ways to cut your angles to match, I tend to align the floral on the white and move up from the bottom 1/8” more and then align the white on the Peaceful Pine and again move up 1/8” more and then line up the diagonal on my cutter and cut them, but you can mark them and cut them that way or what works for you. Then take one of the white pieces for the middle panel and the middle floral piece and cut that diagonally. Then take the other white piece for the middle panel and the third floral piece, but you will cut the opposite angle as this goes on the back side of your middle panel so that it shows from the front. Then take the small white piece and the Barely Blush velveteen and do the same. Now adhere them all down to their appropriate panels.

With a piece of scrap white card stock and the Flowering Meadow stamp set find the daisy flower. Ink the stem part of the stamp in Peaceful Pine ink and then use your Berry Burst Stampin’ Write marker to ink the flower and stamp on your white card stock. Then find the large floral center stamp and stamp in Daffodil Delight ink. Use the dies to cut out both. Now take the “thanks” greeting stamp and stamp in Peaceful Pine ink and use the small label die from the Scalloped Blooms dies to cut out your label. Adhere your label to the front panel on your Barely Blush velveteen and then adhere the flower center to your daisy and then the flower stem over the straight left side of your label.

For the inside take your last piece of white card stock you cut and angle it to the same angle, since it is smaller you can use any of the angles. Adhere to your back panel center on three-sided from the bottom, making sure it will be covered when you close your card. Use the Peaceful Pine ink and stamp the “you always make me smile” greeting.

Such a bright and beautiful card to say thanks.

Patchwork Thank You Cards

This patchwork thank you card is so quick and easy and if you use the right double-sided paper, you can cut twice with the InLoveArts Patchwork Boarder die and make two cards, just by cutting one from each side. This Strawberry Slush floral paper from Stampin’ Up’s Floral Impressions designer series paper made this the perfect paper for this card.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Strawberry Slush card stock (2025-2027 In Colors Stampin’ Up)
White card stock
Floral Impression designer series paper (Stampin’ Up)
Impressions Abloom stamp set (Stampin’ Up)
Strawberry Slush ink (2025–2027 In Colors Stampin’ Up)

From your Strawberry Slush card stock cut two card bases to 5 ½” x 8” and fold in half. This card base is slightly smaller than normal to fit with the die so you don’t have large borders. With your white card stock cut two pieces for the inside of your card to 3 ¾” x 5 ¼”.

Take your Floral Impression designer series paper pack and find the piece with Strawberry Slush on the back and the pink floral on the front. With this paper there is a direction, so you do need to pay attention to that (which I didn’t for the first ones I cut and you also need to pay attention to the direction of your die to see if you want the large panels at the top or bottom. Since I didn’t pay attention, my florals are upside down on one and the triangle is toward the bottom instead of the top on the other to get the direction right, but that isn’t bad. Cut once with the flowers up and another with the Strawberry Slush design up. You will now have two strawberry slush boarders and two sets of floral panels. Then use some scrap pieces of white card stock to cut out two of the center panel.

Adhere your Strawberry Slush panels to the front of each card base and then use your floral panels to fill in the panels, leaving the center panel open for your white pieces.

Take the Impressions Abloom stamp set and find the “Thanks So Very Much” or Thans for being there” greeting and stamp with your Strawberry Slush ink on your center panel, then adhere to the center of your card.

With the “I appreciate you” greeting and your Strawberry Slush ink stamp this on the upper center of each of your inside white pieces and adhere to the inside of your card.

Moonlit Flora Embossed Thankful for You Card

I spent some time playing with the Fern & Flora 3D embossing folder and loved how this one turned out. Then I paired it with some paper from the Moonlit Flora designer series paper and used the Fern & Flora stamp set, all from Stampin’ Up, to make this pretty card.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

From a piece of Secret Sea card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. Then cut a piece to 3 ½” x 3 ½” and another to 1 1/8” x 3 ½”. With some white card stock cut to pieces to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”, one to 3 3/8” x 3 3/8”, one to 7/8” x 3 ½” and another to 3 ¼” x 4 ½”. Take your Moonlit Flora designer series paper and find the Golden Glow piece with the four dot decorations, cut one to 4” x 5 ¼ and a second to 1” x 3 5/8”.

Let’s start by taking the white piece you cut to 3 ¼” x 4 ½” and your Fern & Flora 3D embossing folder. With your Golden Glow ink pad, open and swipe in along the flat part of your embossing folder where your folder will emboss into, so that the ink is only on the flat surface that will be the background. Lay your paper on the opposite raise side and fold your folder closed and run through your machine to emboss. This will put the ink onto the background of your paper leaving most of the embossed surface white. Set aside to dry well. Take the white piece you cut to 7/8” x 3 ½” and the “thankful for you” greeting stamp from the Fern & Flora stamp set and stamp in Golden Glow ink.

Take your Secret Sea card base and one of the 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” white pieces and adhere to the front. Then adhere the Golden Glow designer series paper piece to the front of the white. Now take the Secret Sea piece measuring 3 ½” x 3 ½, adhere to white square piece to the front of it. Grab your embossed piece and cut down to 3 ¼” to make it square, the part you cut off will be for the inside of your card, and adhere to the white piece. Adhere that to the upper portion of your card front, leaving an equal area on the three sides. Now take the label piece of Secret Sea, adhere the Golden Glow paper piece to it and then your stamped white piece to that. Adhere to the lower portion of your card again leaving an equal amount on three sides. Take two of the larger Secret Sea embellishments from the Dewdrop Embelishments and add one to each end of your label.

For the inside of your card adhere the white piece measuring 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”. With your Golden Glow ink stamp the “you’re an amazing friend” greeting in the upper portion. Adhere the embossed piece you cut off at the bottom, again leaving equal space on three sides.

I am just in love with this card and can’t wait to give it to someone.

Velvet Meadow Floral Lineup Card

This cute card uses the Velvet Meadow designer series paper with the white flocking and the dies from Flowering Meadow and stamps and dies from Scalloped Blooms, all from Stampin’ Up. I used the die to cut out the flowers for the side from the paper instead of trying to color them.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

From a piece of Basic Beige card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½”, then fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. From a piece of Peaceful Pine cut a piece to 2 ¾” x 5”. With the Velvet Meadow designer series paper find the Basic Beige piece with the pink flowers and then the Basic Beige slightly textured looking paper. From the Basic Beige textured looking paper cut a piece to 4” x 5 ¼”. Then with the pink floral paper cut a piece to 2 ½” x 4 ¾”.

Take the double flower die from the Flowering Meadow dies and die cut 5 of the double pink flowers from some of the extra pink floral paper, or you can stamp and color them if you prefer not to cut up your paper. Then cut 7 of the leaves from the paper with a pair of scissors, or you can use the three leaf due and cut some out of Peaceful Pine card stock and cut them up.

Adhere the floral piece measuring 2 ½” x 4 ¾” to the Peaceful Pine card stock piece. Now adhere three of your double cut flowers to the back on the right side, starting to adhere one in the center and then the other two to the top and bottom. Adhere four of the leaves to the back of the flowers as desired. From a scrap piece of Basic Beige use the longer label die with the scallops on the right end to cut out a label. Use Peaceful Pine ink to stamp the “you’re a blessing to me” greeting to the right side of your label. Take one of the double cut flowers and a pair of scissors to cut the flowers apart and use the full flower to adhere to the left end of your label and use one of the cut-out leaves with it.

Use pop dots to adhere the large piece with your flowers to the front of your card base. Then use more pop dots to adhere the label to the lower portion of your floral paper, about ½” up from the Peaceful Pine border with the right scalloped side hanging over.

For the inside of your card adhere your last double flowers to the lower left corner of the back panel along with the two remaining leaves. Use Peaceful Pine ink to stamp the “thank you” greeting in the upper center of the back panel of the inside of your card.

A lovely card to thank someone special to you who helps when you really need it.

Moonlit Flora Thankful for You Card

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Cut a piece of Golden Glow card stock to 5 ½” x 8 ½” for your card base and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. Cut another piece to 1 ¼” x 5 ¼”. From Mossy Meadow cut a piece to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”. With some white card stock cut a piece for the inside of your card to 4” x 5 ¼”. Then from the Moonlit Flora designer series paper find the piece with the Golden Glow flowers and cut to 3” x 5 ¼”.

Take the Golden Glow piece you cut to 1 ¼” x 5 ¼” and emboss with an embossing folder (this is a Stampin’ Up embossing folder but I am not sure of the name, but any with a subtle design would work). With a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock cut the large leaf and fern dies, and with Old Olive use the fern and frond dies to cut those out.

Adhere your 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” piece of Mossy Meadow to the front of your card base. Then adhere the fern designer series paper piece to the top portion of the top of the Mossy Meadow, leaving about an 1/8” around top, left and right sides. Then adhere your Golden Glow embossed strip to the bottom portion. Adhere the Mossy Meadow large leaf and the Old Olive fern and frond pieces onto the Golden Glow strip to the left side. Stamp the “thankful for you” greeting in Mossy Meadow ink and then the label boarder around it from the Fern & Flora stamp set. Use the label die to cut it out. Adhere the label with pop dots over the ferns.

For the inside take the white piece you cut and with the Golden Glow ink and a blending brush and highlight the outside edge. Adhere the fern to the right corner. Stamp in Mossy Meadow ink the “You’re an amazing friend” greeting stamp in the upper middle. Adhere to the inside back of your card base.

A pretty thank you card for a great friend.

Floral Charm Thank You Floral Strip Card

This card made with strips of paper turned out cute. It was made with the Floral Charm designer series paper from Stampin’ Up and the Charming day stamp set.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

Mossy Meadow card stock (Stampin’ Up)
Timid Tiger card stock (2025-2027 In Color Stampin’ Up)
White card stock
Floral Charm designer series paper (July 2025 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
Charming day stamp set (July 2025 Online Exclusive Stamp in’ Up)
Two layered label dies
Mossy Meadow ink (Stampin’ Up)
Scissors
Paper trimmer
Adhesive of choice
Pop dots

With the Mossy Meadow card stock cut your card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half. Take your Timid Tiger card stock and cut two pieces to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and then 4 strips to 3/8” x 4”. From white card stock cut an inside piece to 4” x 5 ¼”. Take your Floral Charm designer series paper pack find the orange floral piece and cut 5 strips to 7/8” x 4”, keeping them in order.

Take the Timid Tiger piece you cut to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and start adhering your strips. Start with the top adhering your top piece just at the top so you can slide your strip under. Fully adhere your bottom strip to the bottom of the Timid Tiger background. Then work at adhering your orange dividing strips and your three center floral strips, sizing them as close to the same as possible.

From a scrap piece of Mossy Meadow, cut the larger size laying label and from a scrap piece of white card stock cut the smaller label. With your Mossy Meadow ink and the “Thanks for Being You” greeting stamp from the Charming Day stamp set, stamp on your white label toward the right side. From a scrap piece of your floral paper cut out a floral section and adhere to the left side of your label, or you can stamp and color a flower and leaves to use (I am not the best at coloring so I rather fussy cut 😊). Adhere you white label with pop dots to your Mossy Meadow label and then adhere them to the front of your card about 1/3 of the way from the top.

For the inside of your card adhere your white card stock piece to the Timid Tiger piece and adhere to the inside of your card. From the Charming Day stamp set find the “you made my day” greeting stamp and with your Mossy Meadow ink stamp in the upper portion of your card. I had stamped and colored a flower for the front that I didn’t use so I used in on the inside, you could also fussy cut another. The stamped flower was colored with Light Timid Tiger and Light Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends.

This is a fairly neutral thank you card that could be given to most anyone to let them know you appreciate something they did to make your day brighter.
