Traditions of Christmas Blue Christmas Card

This Secret Sea Christmas paper from the Traditions of Christmas designer series paper is so beautiful with the poinsettias.  Adding the Diagonal Secret Sea paper with it makes a stunning holiday card.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Secret Sea card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Tradition of Christmas designer series paper (Sept – Dec Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Cozy Christmas stamp set (October 2025 Paper Pumpkin Stampin’ Up)
  • Versatile Christmas stamp set (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Real Red ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Traditional Sparkle Sequins (Sept – Dec Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

With the Secret Sea card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 1/4” x 5 ½”.  Cut another piece to ½” x 5 ¼”.  From the white card stock cut a piece for the inside of your card to 4” x 5 ¼”.  Find the Secret Sea diagonal piece and the large poinsettia piece with the Secret Sea background.  Cut a piece of the poinsettia paper to 2 ¾” x 5 ¼” and a piece of the Secret Sea diagonal paper to 2” x 5 ¼”.

From a scrap piece of white card stock cut a label large enough to fit the Merry Christmas from the Cozy Christmas stamp set, then stamp in Real Red.

Adhere the Secret Sea diagonal paper to the bottom front of your card.  Then adhere the Mary Christmas label up about ¼” from the bottom of your card centered.  Now adhere the Poinsettia paper to the top section of your card.  Now you can adhere the Secret Sea ½” strip covering where they cross, positioning it about 1/8” up from the top of your label.  Use the Traditional Sparkle Sequins to add three to each end of the Secret Sea strip, I did one of each size for some dimension.

For the inside of your card take the white piece and the “Wishing you a season of gladness, a season of cheer, and to top it all off – a wonderful year!” greeting stamp from the Versatile Christmas stamp set and stamp toward the top in the center in Real Red ink.  Adhere to the inside of your card.

You have a beautiful blue Christmas card that is just stunning to give to someone to wish them a great holiday season.
