This angled window card made with the Toadstool Gardens designer series paper is very cute and while I am not usually a brights fan, this paper pack has won my heart. It took a bit of playing with to get it to work but was so worth it.

To create this card, you just need a few things:
- Melon Mambo card stock (Stampin’ Up)
- White card stock
- Toadstool Gardens designer series paper (Stampin’ Up)
- Mixed Labels stamp set (Stampin’ Up)
- Square dies, largest measuring about 1 ¼” and then the next size down
- Square dies, largest measuring about 1 ¾” and then the next size up
- Melon Mambo ink (Stampin’ Up)
- Melon Mambo Ribbon (Stampin’ Up)
- Scoring board or paper trimmer scoring blade
- Paper trimmer
- Adhesive of choice
With your Melon Mambo cut a card base to 5 ½” x 11” and score at 3 ¼” and 7 5/8”. On the inside right panel make a mark down 1 ¼” and at the bottom mark in from the first score mark 1 5/8”. With your paper trimmer place the first score mark at the cutting edge and angle down to the 1 ¼” mark and cut the angle. Then from the bottom 1 5/8” mark up to the point from your first cut and cut your second angle, which gives you your front panel angles. For the left panel, mark down 1” and cut an angle from the left score mark to your 1” mark. Take the larger of the two square dies and angle it along your angles of the front panel and cut a hole about ¼” in from each side.

Grab your Toadstool Gardens designer series paper pack and find the multi-color dot paper, a piece of the wavy paper and also the paper that has the little flowers on it. With the multi-color dot paper, cut two piece to 3 1/8” x 5 ¼”. Take one piece and mark down 1 ¼” on the dot side and in from the right side on the bottom mark at 1 ½” and then cut your angles and adhere to the front right panel of your card. On the second dot piece, mark down 1” on the left side and cut the angle down.

I think the easiest way to line up your box for the back panel is to align your paper on the front of the panel and close the front panel onto it and then use a pencil to lightly draw your box, and then use the same bigger square die and cut the hole. Then adhere it to the front of the left panel. Now with some white card stock cut out a smaller square and adhere that in the center of the left panel square cutout. With the floral designer series paper you pulled out, cut out one of the flowers and adhere that to your white square so you see it through the front panel when closed.

Take the white piece of card stock you cut and adhere that to the inside of your card. With your Mixed Labels stamp set and your Melon Mambo ink and stamp the “I’m so glad we’re friends” greeting on a spare piece of white card stock and cut out with a 1 ¾” square and then cut the next size up die out of Melen Mambo card stock. Adhere the white greeting to the Melon Mambo and then to the inside of your card.

For your belly band cut a piece of Melon Mambo card stock to 1” x 9 ½”, loosely fold this over your card side and meet in the back and adhere the ends together. Now cut a piece of the wavy designer series paper to ¾” x 4 ¼” and adhere to your adhered ends side to hide your ends. Then wrap the belly band with ribbon and tie a not and trim ends.

You have now created the Toadstool Gardens Angled Window card and it wasn’t so bad, when you have directions.
