Traditions of Christmas Z-Fold Seasons Greetings Card

This take on a traditional z-fold card made a really cute card with the Traditions of Christmas designer series paper from Stampin’ Up.  It gives a center section to decorate.   My upline from Stampin’ Up showed a similar card on her Facebook live so I used her layout for this.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Gold (Tan Textured Pearl) card stock (Hobby Lobby)
  • White card stock
  • Traditions of Christmas designer series paper (Sept-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Traditional Label stamps and dies (Sept-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Christmas Greenery dies (Sept-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
  • Real Red ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

With a piece of white card stock cut a card base piece to 5 1/2” x 8 ¼” and score at 1 ½” and 4 ¼”, fold the 4 ¼” mark to the right and then the small section to the left.  From your Traditions of Christmas designer series paper find the green plaid piece, the pink poinsettia piece and the piece with the floral sprays you can cut out with a die from Christmas Greenery dies.  From the green plaid paper cut a piece to 1 3/8” x 5 3/8”.  From the pink poinsettia piece cut a piece to 2 5/8” x 5 3/8” and another to 1 3/8” x 5 3/8”.

Take your card base and the larger pink poinsettia piece and adhere that to the front panel behind your small-folded flap.  Adhere the other pink poinsettia piece to the right side of the inside of your card that is exposed.  Now adhere the green plaid piece to the center small flap.

From the floral spray paper use the die from the Christmas Greenery dies to cut out one with the pink and red flowers.  Use the large leaf die to cut out a piece from the gold card stock and cut into pieces and adhere to the back of your floral spray.  With a scrap piece of white card cut out the double banner label die from the Traditional Label dies.

With Real Red ink stamp the “Season’s Greeting” across your banner.  Adhere the banner to the lower portion of your front flap over the green plaid, about ½” up from the bottom.  With pop dots adhere your floral spray to the upper portion, overhanging your label slightly.

For the inside of your card stamp the “Sending Love and Joy” greeting in Real Red ink on the inside of your card centered on the white portion.

This gives you a gorgeous floral holiday card to give to someone special.
