Fun for Fall Fall Y’all Card

I have been waiting to get time to use this Fun for Fall stamp and die set from Stampin’ Up and finally got to it now that it is closer to Fall.  It is so adorable, I used every die except for the sunflower, but I stamped that on the inside.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Basic Beige card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • Golden Glow card stock (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Peaceful Pine card stock (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Choclate Chip card stock (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Fun for Fall stamp set and dies (July Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Choclate Chip Ink (retired Stampin’ Up)
  • Basic Black ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Stampin’ Blends
    • Golden Glow Light
    • Golden Glow Dark
    • Boho Blue Light
    • Real Red Light
    • Peaceful Pine Light
    • Pecan Pie Light
    • Smokey Slate Light
  • Paint Texture 3D Embossing Folder (retired Stampin’ Up) – don’t know the name
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

From a piece of Basic Beige card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  Cut two more pieces to 4” x 5 ¼”.  From Golden Glow card stock cut two pieces to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”.  Run one of the 4” x 5 ¼” Basic Beige pieces through with your paint textured 3D embossing folder.

Take your card base and adhere one of the Golden Glow pieces and then your embossed piece to the front.

With your Chocolate Chip ink stamp two bales of hay on Golden Glow card stock and cut both out with the appropriate die.  Also take the corn die that cut out 8 pieces at once and cut out one set from the Golden Glow.  From your Peaceful Pine card stock cut out two of the corn stalks and adhere the pieces of corn to the back of each stalk.  From some Chocolate Chip card stock cut out two fences.  Then take a piece of Basic Beige and stamp the scarecrow and then the flag with the “happy fall yall” greeting stamped on it.  Cut them out with the appropriate dies.  Then with your Basic Black ink stamp one of each of the crows and cut them out with their matching dies.

Now time to color with your Stampin’ Blends.  Color each of the crows with the Smokey Slate Light.  Color the flag with the Golden Glow Light.  For the scarecrow color the jeans and hat in Boho Blue Light.  With the Real Red Light color the patches on the jeans and the hat and also the band on the hat and the bandana.  With Peaceful Pine light color the grass.  With the Golden Glow light color the straw for hands, feet and hair and then color the face in the Golden Glow dark.  Use the Pecan Pie light to color the center patch on the jeans and the pole.

Now adhere your stalks of corn to the left side of your card front and then one of the fences over those with one of the crows to the left side of the fence bottom on pop dots and one of the straw bales to the right with pop dots.  Adhere the other fence to the right side with the other hay bale using pop dots and top the hay bale with a crow also using pop dots and the other crow on top of one of the fence posts. Adhere the scarecrow to the center between the bales of hay using pop dots and then the flat over the right side hand with pop dots.

For the inside of the card adhere the other Golden Glow piece to the back panel and then the Basic Beige piece to that.  Stamp the “hoping your day is wonderfall” greeting in Chocolate Chip ink in the upper center.  Then stamp the sunflower and grass clump in the lower left corner.  Color the grass with the Peaceful Pine Light Stampin’ Blends and the sunflower petal and center dot with the Golden Glow Light Stampin’ Blends.

Such an adorable card to send to anyone in the fall to wish them well.
