I wanted to play with the Sunflower Fields designer series paper along with the Radiant Sunflowers stamps and dies, all from Stampin’ Up, so I came up with this card design.

To create this card, you just need a few things:
- Cinnamon Cider or Pecan Pie card stock (Stampin’ Up) – Cinnamon Cider is retired but they are similar in color and I didn’t have Pecan Pie
- Daggodil Delight card stock (Stampin’ Up)
- White card stock
- Sunflower Fields designer series paper (Sept-Dec 26 Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
- Radiant Sunflowers stamp set and dies (Sept-Dec 26 Mini Catalog Stampin’ Up)
- Early Expresso ink (Stampin’ Up)
- Cajun Craze ink (Stampin’ Up)
- Stampin’ Blends Markers
- Pecan Pie Light
- Daffodil Delight Light
- Golden Glow Ligh
- Cajun Craze Light and Dark
- Old Olive Light
- Mossy Meadow Light
- Paper trimmer
- Adhesive of choice
- Pop dots
From a piece of Cinnamon Cider (or Pecan Pie) card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. From Daffodil Delight card stock cut two pieces to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and another piece to 2” x 5”. Take your Sunflower Fields designer series paper and find the Pecan Pie hatched paper and the Pecan Pie sunflower paper. From the Pecan Pie hatched paper cut a piece to 4” x 5 ¼” and from the floral paper cut a piece to 1 7/8” x 4 7/8”.

Adhere one of the 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” pieces of Daffodil Delight to the front of your card base and then the hatched Pecan Pie piece to the front of that. Adhere your floral piece to the 2” x 5” piece of Daffodil Delight and then adhere to the front of your hatched paper about ¼” in from the left side. From a scrap piece of Daffodil Delight card stock use the label die to cut out your label and then stamp the “thinking of you” greeting in Cajun Craze ink. Adhere to the lower portion of your card front with pop dots about ¼” in from the right side and up about 1”.

From the Radiant Sunflowers stamp set find the four flower stamp and stamp on a scrap piece of white card stock in Early Expresso ink and use the die to cut out. Color in the three sunflowers with Daffodil Delight Light Stampin Blend and then use the Golden Glow Light Stampin’ Blend to highlight. Color the center of the three sunflowers with the Pecan Pie Light Stampin’ Blend. For the last flower I colored it in with Cajun Craze Light and then highlighted heavily with the Cajun Craze Dark. For the leaves I colored them in with Old Olive Light and then Highlighted heavily with Mossy Meadow Light. I then didn’t like the white background showing so I decided to color it in with the Pecan Pie Light, and I love how it turned out. Now adhere this in the upper right of your card using pop dots with the three-leaf grouping overlapping on your label.

For the inside take your piece of Daffodil Delight that is left and stamp the “wishing you so much happiness” greeting in Cajun Craze ink. Then with your Early Expresso Ink and the fourf-lower stamp again stamp at the bottom with mainly the two smaller sunflowers showing. This was also something I hadn’t done before, I used the paper to mainly color the flowers and then just did the Golden Glow Light highlights, Pecan Pie Light centers and the Old Olive Light with heavy Mossy Meadow Light highlights. I loved how this turned out as well.

Love this card and can’t wait to send it to a friend who is having surgery tomorrow.
