I have been working on this one for a bit trying to get it planned out the way I wanted it.  I have created this card to lay flat and fit into a standard 4 ½” x 5 ¾” envelop.  With measurement it isn’t as hard as it looks, just some time to die cut flowers and leaves.  This pop-up envelope full of flowers get well card is cheerful and will brighten anyone’s day.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

• Card stock (All Stampin’ Up colors)
  • Pool Party
  • Lemon Lolly
  • Daffodil Delight
  • Peach Pie
  • Powder Pink or Pretty in Pink
  • Old Olive
  • Mossy Meadow
• Floral Impression designer series paper
• Impressions Abloom dies
• Small tag die
• Mini Mates stamp set (retired Stampin’ Up)
• SSC 1221 stamp set (Stampendous)
• Pool Party ink (Stampin’ Up)
• Scoring board or paper trimmer scoring blade
• Paper trimmer
• Corner Punch
• Adhesive of choice

With your Pool Party card stock cut a piece to 5 3/4” x 8 ½” and along the 8 ½” length score at 1 ¾”, 2 ½”, 6” and 6 ¾”, then turn and score the length of the 8 ½” at 3”.  Along the 8 ½” long score mark take a pair of scissors and cut from each edge in 2 ½” leaving your center section uncut.  The cut down the 2 ¾” part to leave just the center section.  On each of your 1 ¾” sides, mark down ¾” and cut on a angle.  On your single center section, mark the top at 1 ¾” center and cut your angles to form your envelope flap.  Use a corner punch to round the top of the flap. 

Now still with your Pool Party card stock cut a piece to 2” x 3 ½”, mark your 3 ½” length at 1 ¾” and angle from each edge to form a triangle.  Cut another piece to 3” x 4” and score on the 4” side at ¼” and 3 ¾” and another piece to 2 ½” x 4” and score on the 4” side at ¼” and 3 ¾”.  Now from the Floral Impressions designer series paper find the Pool Party piece with the dotted circles and cut two pieces to 1 ½” x 3” and angle mark down ¾” and cut the angle, and then cut the opposite angle to the second piece.  Cut another piece to 2” x 3 1/4” and angle into a triangle and use the corner round to cut the top.  Cut one last piece to for the back flap to 2 ½” x 3 ¼” and angle into a triangle for the top back flap and use a corner rounder to match.  These last two cuts are different than the picture shows as I had to adjust as I went.

Adhere the top back flap designer series paper to the flap.  Fold your scores all inward.  Adhere to two angled side designer series paper pieces to each side.  Now take your 3 ½” x 4” piece and fold your scored sides down.  Adhere each side to the inside section of your card with the fold pushed all the way to the back leaving a ¼” gap between the back of the card and the section.  Then do the same with the 2 ½” x 4” piece, pushing the scored flaps to the first section leaving another ¼” gap.  Adhere the other triangle designer series paper to the Pool Party triangle and then adhere one side to the bottom of one of the angel sides and then to the other to hold your pop-up box together.  Having the open bottom allows you to be able to fold your envelope flat to put into an envelope. 

Next let’s cut some flowers.  With the Impressions Abloom dies use the daisy looking die and center cut die to cut four pink flower from your Powder Pink or Pretty in Pink card stock and four flower centers from Daffodil Delight with the smaller size center die and the decorative center die.  Cut three of the single stems from the Old Olive card stock and build your flowers, leaving one without a stem. 

Now from your Peach Pie card stock and your smaller flower die and the center impression die and cut five along with five centers from the Daffodil Delight card stock but without the center impression die, adhere centers to the flowers (set one flower aside for the back of your card).

With your Lemon Lolly card stock and the small half flower double die cut four sets (eight total) and with your Daffodil Delight cut four of the large half flower.  With Old Olive cut one single and two of the double stems.  With three of your large half flowers arrange and adhere two of the small yellow half flowers to the back to form a full two-color flower.  With the two small flowers tear a section of the one large flower to form your two small flowers.  Add the single stem to one of the large and use one large and one small on the two double stems, and then cut them apart so you can use them separately. 

From some scrap Pool Party and the dainty small 3-flower dies cut enough to fill three double stems with 3-5 flowers on each stem, to your liking.  Cut these stems into individual stems as well. 

Now with your Old Olive and your two matching leaf dies cut 5 sets to use randomly and with the Mossy Meadow and the four-leaf die cut three of those to use (set one of the individual leaves aside with your peach flower for the back of your card). 

Arrange the flowers to your liking on the three different levels leaving one pink, one peach, and three of the individual leave for the front.  Adhere these to the front once you have arranged and adhered all the others.

With your “Get Well Soon” stamp from the Mini Mates stamp set from Stampin’ Up and with the Pool Party ink stamp on a piece of Lemon Lolly and use a small tag die to cut it out. Adhere to the front of your card. 

For the back of your card cut a piece of Lemon Lolly to 2 ¾” x 3 ¼”.  Adhere the Peach Pie flower and leaf you set aside in the lower left corner.  Use your Pool Party ink and the “A bouquet . . . to celebrate you!” greeting from the SSC 1221 Stampendous stamp set and stamp in the upper center.  Adhere to the back of your card.

You have created a beautiful get well card to have for when needed.
