Lovely Blooms Hello Friend Card

The Lovely Blooms designer series paper and Lovely Arrangements stamps and dies are still one of my favorite current sets from Stampin’ Up.  The new Eyelet die goes really well with it an made a great background for this card.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Old Olive card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Lovely Blooms designer series paper (January 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Lovely Arrangements stamp set and dies (January 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Eyelet Blooms die (April 2026 Product of the Month Stampin’ Up)
  • Oval die (Senhai Ovals)
  • Old Olive ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Corner rounder
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

For your card base cut a piece of Old Olive card stock to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  From white card stock cut two pieces to 4” x 5 ¼”.  From the Lovely Blooms designer series paper find the piece with the multiple pre-printed designs and cut out the Old Olive decorative piece and the Cloud Cover background with flowers and leaves.  Use your corner rounder to round the corners of your card base, two white pieces and the Old Olive decorative piece.

Take one of the white pieces and cut the design into it with the Eyelet Blooms die, take time to get all the little pieces out.  The take the floral decorative piece and your oval die and cut out.  I did have to position where I wanted it at the top and cut and then reposition at the bottom and cut again to get it the oval shape I wanted.

Adhere the white eyelet cut piece to the front of your Old Olive card base.  Then adhere the Old Olive decorative piece centered on that.  The with pop dots adhere the oval floral piece to the center of that.  Now with Old Olive ink stamp the “hello friend” greeting from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set and use the oblong die to cut it out and adhere to the bottom of the floral oval with pop dots.

For the inside of your card adhere the other white piece.  With Old Olive ink and the “sending smiles” greeting stamp, stamp in the upper center of the white piece.

What a quick and fun card to give to any friend to give them a smile knowing they are in your thoughts.

Delicate Dreams Scalloped Wishes Thanks Card

I had some triangle pieces left from a different card I made so I came up with this design so that I could use them on this gate fold that opens in the middle.  It uses the blue floral paper from the Delicate Dreams designer series paper from Stampin’ Up and the Scalloped Wishes dies and stamps.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Hydrangea Hue card stock (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Pear Pizzaz card stock (retired Stamp’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Delicate Dreams designer series paper (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Scalloped Wishes stamp set and dies (March 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
  • Hydrangea Hue ink (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
  • Bordered Ribbon Hydrangea Hue (2026-2028 In Color Stampin Up)
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Pop dots

To cut your card base take a piece of white card stock and cut to 4 ¼” x 11” and score at 2 ¾” and 8 ¼”.  Cut another white piece to 3 ¾” x 5” for the inside of your card.  From the Hydrangea Hue card stock cut a piece to 2 7/8” x 2 7/8” and cut on the diagonal into to halves.  In your Delicate Dreams designer series paper pack find the blue and white floral piece and cut two pieces to 2 5/8” x 4 1/8” and a piece to 2 ¾” x 2 ¾” which you cut in half on the diagonal as well.

From the Scalloped Wishes dies take a scrap piece of white card stock and cut the large plain label and dragonfly wings.  With some scrap Hydranea Hue card stock cut the larger scalloped designed label and four flowers (two sets of two), along with a dragonfly body.   Take a scrap of Pear Pizzaz card stock and cut out two of the longer leaf sprigs.

Now we can assemble, starting with taking your white card base and folding each side in to meet at the center.  Take the two rectangle floral pieces and adhere one to each side of the front of your card.  Take your floral triangles and adhere to the Hydrangea Hue triangles and adhere one of each to the outside edge of your floral pieces.

With the Hydrangea Hue label, adhere it to the larger white label.  Then adhere one of your leaf springs to the left side along with two of the flowers.  Grab your Hydrangea Hue ink and the “with sincere thanks” greeting from Scalloped Wishes and stamp to the right side.  With your Bordered Ribbon cut a piece and tie a bow and adhere to the upper right side of your label.  Adhere the left side of your label to the left side centered in your card front.  Adhere the dragonfly body to the front of wings and adhere the dragonfly to the upper right of your card, making sure it doesn’t interfere with your card label when opening the card.

For the inside of your card take the 4” x 5 ¼” Hydrangea Hue paper and adhere the 3 ¾” x 5” white piece to it and adhere to the inside of your card.  Adhere the leaf spring and two remaining flowers in the lower left corner of the inside.

What a lovely thank you card for a girlfriend or work mate who does something you should say thanks for.

Painted Illusions Split Grame Happy Birthday Card

This card design I have been looking at for a while and finally made, I am calling it a split frame card.  This one is made with the Painted Illusions designer series paper from Stampin’ Up.

To create this card, you just need a few things:

  • Flirty Flamingo card stock (Stampin’ Up)
  • White card stock
  • Transparency clear sheet
  • Painted Illusions designer series paper (February 2026 Product of the Month Stampin’ Up)
  • Fabulous Saying stamp set (January 2025 Product of the Month Stampin’ Up)
  • Forever Florals (2025 Virtual Retreat Stampin’ Up)
  • Flirty Flamingo ink (Stampin’ Up)
  • Scoring board or scoring blade for paper trimmer
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive of choice

From a piece of white card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 5 5/8” and score at 1 3/8”.  Then cut a piece to 1 3/8” x 5 ½”, one to 1 1/8” x 3” and three to 1 3/8” x 1 3/8”.  From a transparency or clear sheet cut a piece to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”.  From the Painted Illusions designer series paper find the pink floral paper and then the swirl paper that has the blue floral back.  From the swirl paper cut two pieces to 1 ¼” x 5 3/8” with a section of the pink included.  From the pink floral piece cut a piece to 1 ¼” x 5 ½” and six pieces to 1 ¼” x 1 ¼”.

With the white card base, fold at the score mark.  Take the transparency piece and adhere to the front of the 1 3/8” section, making sure you keep the adhesive away from the edge so it won’t show outside the paper boundaries, about 1/8” all the way around.  Now adhere the white piece measuring 1 3/8” x 5 ½” and adhere that to the right side to the back of the transparency.

Take the white squares and three of the floral squares and adhere each floral square to the white squares.  Adhere one to the top portion of the clear center strip, one to the bottom and then the third to the middle.

For the inside of the card adhere the other three floral squares to the triangles on the left side to cover the adhesive from the front.  Adhere the floral strip to the left side of the card back.  In Flirty Flamingo ink stamp the “happy birthday” greeting from the Fabulous Sayings stamp set to the white strip.  Adhere to the center of the floral strip.  Cut two of the small flower bunches from the Forever Florals dies and adhere one bunch to each end of your happy birthday greeting making sure they are on the white so the centers of the flowers are white.

The inside is as cute and the outside and this card design could be used for any occasion card.
