The Textured Tree Ring 3D embossing folder from Stampin’ Up makes a great background for any nature or masculine card and the Notes of Collage stamps and dies added the perfect accents.
To create this card, you just need a few things:
- Crumb Cake card stock (Stampin’ Up)
- Golden Glow card stock (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
- Old Olive card stock (Stampin’ Up)
- Very Vanilla card (Stampin’ Up)
- Textured Tree Ring 3D embossing folder (July 2026 Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up)
- Notes of Collage stamp set and dies (2026 Creativity Now Stampin’ Up)
- Crumb Cake ink (Stampin’ Up)
- Golden Glow Light Stampin’ Blends (2026-2028 In Color Stampin’ Up)
- Sponge piece
- Paper trimmer
- Adhesive of choice
- Pop dots
From a piece of Crumb Cake card stock cut a card base to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and fold in half to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. Cut another to 4 1/8” x 5 3/8 and one to 1” x 2 ½”. From a piece of Very Vanilla and cut to 4” x 5 ¼” for the inside of your card and a piece to 3/8” x 2 1/8” for your label.
From a scrap piece of Golden Glow card stock use the hashed design die and cut out. With a scrap piece of Old Olive use the leaf die to cut out and then with the small piece of Crumb Cake cut out the label with the label die. Use the Textured Tree Ring 3D embossing folder and emboss the label you cut out with the die and also the 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” piece. The use Crumb Cake ink and your sponge to ink the edges of both of your embossed pieces.
Now use some scrap Very Vanilla and stamp two of the sticks with buds in Crumb Cake ink. Use your Golden Glow Light Stampin’ Blend to color the buds. Now use the die to cut them out.
Take the embossed piece and adhere to the front of your card base. Then adhere the Golden Glow hashed piece to the left side down about an inch from the top. Then adhere the leaf and the two twigs to your liking. On the label piece of Very Vanilla in Crumb Cake ink stamp the “I’m here for you” greeting. Adhere to the embossed label and then use pop dots to adhere the label in the center over the bottom of your stems.
For the inside of your card take the Very Vanilla piece and the Crumb Cake ink and stamp the twig with buds to the left lower side. Use the Golden Glow Stampin’ Blends to color the buds. Use a sponge piece to ink the edges of the Very Vanilla piece.
A nice neutral card to let someone know you are there if they need you.
